To all consumers, current patients, and people who are looking into registering as a patient of Dr. Michael E. Meltzer DO Please read this in its entirety. I am advising you to do your research on this QUACK. I have been seeing him for less than TWO YEARS. The experiences have been strange, weird, and unprofessional. When called back in the patient room, you would wait and wait. THEN once Dr. Quack aka “Michael E. Meltzer DO” would come in, he was always in a rush, he once went thru AT LEAST 6 OR MORE prescription blanks because he was not focusing on the patient and worrying about getting his "girlfriend" to the airport on time! Then said, “To come back because, he kept messing up, and could not concentrate, and was in a rush to leave.” This is 110 percent true! ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION "Dr. Michael E. Meltzer DO”, I kid you not, he had actually SEXUALY HARRASED ME WHEN GIVING ME MY DEPO INJECTION, by saying things like "ok, give me that tookus" or "ok, give me that butt cheek" and the one that really bothered me was "ok, turn around , bend over and give me a cheek!!!!!” Then when you would “see" him, you’re not REALLY "seeing" him. Because his mind is NOT WITH YOU IN YOUR APPOINTMENT, it always felt like "rush, rush, rush, get them in get out.” Moreover, he is literally thinking of the next appointment, how you would know this was because he would be mumbling something and when asked; what I did not hear what you said, he would reply, “Oh I’m just thinking of something else! Which then backfires on you when you’re trying to talk to him and tell him things, he doesnt listen and thinks your intentionally lying to him if he "finds something out" When youve already told him, it’s not the patients fault if your "doctor” isnt listening. I AM NOT A LIAR, and called me one. His bedside manner is ATROCIOUS! Patients are nothing but dollar signs to him and his practice. Hes constantly canceling and rescheduling your appointments, because" something came up, he has to take his girlfriend somewhere" and youve had the appointment scheduled for at least three months and he cancels them at very last minute, like the before and even the day of!!! Then he punishes patients and calls them liars, when in return he is actually the LIAR. HE IS A FAKE, PHONY, UNORGANZED, LYING FRAUD, AND SEXUALLY HARRASES; I am assuming all his women patients, because he did it to me. Heed this warning current patients, potentially new patients, STAY AWAY, HE IS ONLY A D.O, so because his education is limited, he treats his patients as if there only his next paycheck. Do your research, take the warning, and do not go there! Find a more qualified individual, because he is not a quality doctor by ANY means. Caveat Emptor- BUYER BEWARE

I have been with Doctor meltzer since I was little , including my wife and now my children . We both adore him and his bed side manners ! He has made my son relaxed and not afraid of doctors anymore which is a HUGE step . I would recommend him to pretty much anyone . I wouldnt call his silly behavior " sexually harassing or molesting" thats definitely extreme . He is a very funny guy , loves to joke & loves to see you smile . If you arent that type of person yourself than I wouldnt recommend him to you . I do have to agree , I dont like the switch . I feel the nurses behind the counter dont really care . I came in one day to drop off my referral since their messaging system was full and the nurse behind the counter replied " oh great its gonna be one of these days" well its your job , get over it . I was told by dr meltzer to go home and make an appointment with Deborah for my heart issues as soon as possible but once getting home realized I needed two different referrals . Its now been 72 hours and have yet to receive a call back from the office to either pick up my referrals or that they sent them over so I can make A VERY IMPORTANT appointment with Deborah . The wait time used to never be long when he was over at the other place , my last appointment which was at the new place took an 1 hour and 20 minutes before being seen all because they took a walk in before me . I do admit its all offices so it happens sometimes you are behind . I am really worried about the fact they still havent contacted me about my referral , in which I probably wont hear from them until I go up there and Ill probably get the same snarky attitude from the tall curly haired nurse about how " its going to be one of those days" . If I didnt like dr meltzer I would more than likely switch doctors

Had my first visit with Dr Meltzer today and he was wonderful. Dont be mislead by the hyper sensitive psycho reviewer that gave him one star. This man doesnt wear a lab coat and doesnt speak to you like a traditional Dr. He does not have that cold informative personality that your regular MD has, and does not push drugs on you for profit, nor does he speak to you in terms of whats wrong with you but rather how we can work to make you better. He is very intelligent... Kind of a tongue in cheek sense of humor. Very silly. If you have no sense of humor and take everything personal, or consider breathing on someone sexual harassment go to someone else...

I think the quack on here is the girl talking, he has a sense of humor, listens and goes to extreme measures to help you out, he even comes out to the waiting room to greet you. He calls on a Sunday on his day off for results. The problem now is the new practice he merged with, and the new laws, which are upsetting, but he himself has not changed. He is an excellent doctor, this person is the quack

Very attentive, great with my 3 y/o that came with me. Listened and commented on the issues I was explaining that I had. Dr. Melter is very personable and an all around great person. The office staff is wonderful and caring. I didnt want a "giant" practice type doctor. Dr. Melter right now is on his own with Lourdes...perfect for me! I would highly recommend this practice/physician.

Ive been going for years and i have never had one problem. The Dr has always been on point when i mentioned any problems i have had and has been quick to help me. Wait times are better than other doctor offices i have even been too. Gotta love people complaining about somewhere where they CHOOSE to go, if you dont like the service then change doctors if its that bad lol

Ive been going to Dr. Meltzer for 14 years. He is the only doctor I can get my son to without complaint. Wonderful sense of humor that puts you at ease. I have ended up with a very complicated medical history, and he has been there every step of the way, no hesitations in finding specialists and running necessary tests. LOVE HIM!
