Dr. Klein the medical director is an excellent MD, Dr. Messina the former MD in Flemington (now retired) was exceptional. However my recent experience will necessitate me finding another Medical practice. Let me qualify my review by saying that I managed physical therapy practices for 16 years and now a psychiatric office in Princeton. I arrived for my scheduled appt. and handed the receptionist my Medicare card as the suffix had changed during the year and I was not certain the office had the change in their records. I expressed a concern that if not correct in their records there would be a delay in payment. The girl was not interested, telling me the cards never change, I told her that in my experience they can (mine had recently gone from ending with a T to an A). She stood up and threw her papers down HARD, pencils flying! ! Speaking to me with a bug eyed, furious attitude and in a loud voice "Well thanks for telling me how to do my job"! I thought I was seeing/hearing things... it reminded me of the Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode, but this time it was the receptionist Nazi...The visit went downhill from there. The MD informed me that the records I asked to have forwarded for the visit from their Flemington office to Clinton were not accessible due to computers being down. She was finally able to retrieve them. The blood work I needed would cost me nothing during the week but due to it being the weekend there would be a small charge. I could come back during the week (I live in East Amwell Township and work in Princeton an hour from Clinton during traffic). I did not have my questions answered and drove 45 minutes to wait 2 hours for a scheduled appt. I needed to have someone respond to the few issues detailed when I made the appointment and only one was satisfactorily addressed. Ridiculous and a waste of valuable time. I left with no records .

The doctors here dont actually care about you, only your copay. I made the mistake of making them my primary care doctor. Most of the time you will see a physicians assistant or someone who is not an actual Doctor. My son got the flu and strep at the same time and his doctor asked me to call my primary care doctor to get a prophylactic medication so I dont get it too. The Doctor Is In refused to call in a prescription unless I came in because they couldnt collect my copay. I explained that I was not sick and did not understand why I had to come in while my son was very sick at home. They gave me an attitude that they dont call in prescriptions (obviously why would they help you for free) and hungup on me. They never prescribed the prophylactic and fast forward 3 days later I got sick too. I then went to their office and they refused to prescribe me medication after I waited 2hrs to be seen by one of these non doctors, because they didnt actually know what was wrong. (Again- they are nurses, students, and non doctors- of course they dont know) But anyone who has a brain would know if you have been exposed to strep or the flu- obviously you have one or both. Overall, I dont think they care for their patients only their copays. I suggest going to a real doctor if you actually want to get treated. God forbid something is actually wrong with you- these students dont know what theyre doing.

Its very hard to meet a medical doctor at Doctors In. The physician assistants and nurses are newly graduates and they dont have much experiences. Last year I was sick and was coughing non stop. The physician assistant gave me a medicine, but it seems that I was getting worse after taken it. I went to ER and doctors at ER told me to stop the medicine that Doctors In gave to me, and ER doctors prescribed me another medicine. Guess what, I was feeling much better after 3 days by following their instructions. Waiting is always an issue with Doctors In. It doesnt matter if you have scheduled an appointment ahead of time, they always let you wait forever!!!!! Make sure you pay your bill on time because they charge 7 dollars re-billing fee. Even if you told them in advance you would be out of town for vacation, they still charge you the fee. I will not recommend this place unless opening 7 days is a catch to you.

Christmas Eve 7:30 pm and my sons lip which had been looking odd was to the point where I feared he had an infection. Nothing was open and it felt mellow dramatic to take him to the ER. I was told about The Dr Is In and was relieved to hear they were open until 10! 25 minutes later we were in the office. There was a wait but it was ok, it is Christmas Eve and I was just happy a place was open at all. Dr. Klein was excellent. He was kind and patient and i formative and took his time explaining how to proceed and where to fill the prescription (I was right, it was infected) onChristmas day. The nurses and/or receptionists were also very nice and talkative and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Im very grateful to know this place and these people exist!

After being seen at the Doctor Is In for 2 years, I asked for the simple request of refilling an asthma medication. I have been taking this medication my entire life. I have also refilled it via phone many times. I was then told by a very rude nurse, Michelle, that for an unknown reason I cannot get a refill on this prescription without seeing the doctor. After calling 6 times and taking off a day of work so I could see a doctor, I am told that I still cannot get a refill because I have to see the doctor who saw me initially. This was not communicated to me at all until the day of. Long story short, its been 6 weeks, I am without asthma medication and I feel as though my health has been held hostage for a copayment. I will never go back again.

I use Dr. Randy Klein as my primary doctor and mostly use the Clinton office. Dr. Klein is a stellar doctor. He follows my care impeccably. The Clinton nurse staff is first rate. I have NEVER not received a call back with blood lab results , prior authorization request and helping me and my family through the quagmire that is managed health. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Good communications. I have not yet been charged a late fee, but the office has first class staffing...and payroll always comes. This is my experience and have gone to Dr. Klein for the pass 2 1/2 years at least four times a year. Thank you.

Absolutely excellent experience with Dr. Klein and his staff! We are from NY and were in NJ for a baseball tournament. My son was injured during a game and we needed to have him evaluated. Annette, the practices receptionist/office manager, quickly checked us in and put us in the cue to be seen. We did not wait long and Dr. Klein performed the evaluation and had an x ray taken and read. The entire staff was professional, efficient and took excellent care of my son. The people of Clinton, NJ are fortunate to have such a competent and professional medical office available to them. Thanks to all on Dr. Kleins team! Dave
