the people who have complained about this place BAFFLES me to say the least. I have been a handful of times over the past year or so.. NEVER waited EVER more than 15 minutes MAYBE 20 max (which is rare). every time i have been there they are kind, respectful and thorough. I have been treated with different problems and they were all resolved. better than i can say for some of my pcp and ENTs that i tried to receive care from. as for payment.. maybe your insurance sucks.. i have never had any further charges than my co pay there. it CLEARLY states that its an URGENT CARE.. so for ppl expecting to only be charged a "regular doctor" appt then why wouldnt you have just gone to a "regular doctor". it is not their fault rather the ignorant patient who must have walked in blind missing all signs stating it was an urgent care lol. ppl blaming weather conditions that doctors express has nothing to do with lol.. seriously? the world does not revolve around one person and neither does this urgent care. you have to wait in line just like everybody else. you arent considered ahead of the list just bc you need a drug test done. get over yourself seriously. The moral of my ranting and raving is i would recommend this place above any other urgent care. I actually prefer going to them rather than my own PCP. if you have concerns or questions regarding payment all you have to do is call them ahead of time to check what your copay would be OR better yet check with your insurance company. you cant blame them for your own mistake of not keeping up with your own policy and not being knowledgeable of your fees. I apologize if my blunt comments hurt someones feelings, but I feel the need to stick up for this place when false statements are made and have nothing to do with their ability to treat patients. this place is excellent and nothing less than that. to those reading up on this place... please do not judge it off of the idiotic and overly manipulated and exaggerated reviews. see for yourselves and i guarantee you will be more than satisfied!!

I went to Doctors Express because it was listed by my insurance company and I am not familiar with the area. It was my first experience at a physicians office in Hamilton, NJ. I am originally from North Jersey. I went in recently with an awful sore throat, was dismissed and told that it was nothing to worry about and that it would go away. Doctor did not diagnose me with anything. No "allergies" or "common cold"- it was "just a sore throat." That was the first bad part. The good part: The woman I spoke to on the phone allowed me to come in the next day with no co-pay, apologizing that the doctor had not diagnosed me with a common cold or even allergies. She let me come back in for free. I went in the day after, first thing in the morning, because I had a severe headache, deep, wheezing coughs,and an extremely hoarse voice. I was dismissed again and told that I could go into work, that it was probably just a common cold and allergies. No further tests, nothing was done. That was the second bad part. I tried to explain to the doctor/nurse practitioner that this is not normal for me, and that I am not someone who gets *sick* this badly. I almost fainted walking up the stairs back to my room after the second doctors visit! Someone helped me take the up north to go see my familys doctor: I am positive for Mononucleosis and Bronchitis. Good job, Doctors Express! Thank you for telling me that I am good to go into work!

Totally unprofessional, lazy, and irresponsible. I came to their office because I suspect I might have urinary tract infection. They are so lazy, did not even take a look inside because what I described sounds like a urinary infection. I received my record saying that they did a urine test and everything came out negative but they give me antibiotics to take for 10 days anyway. I really doubt they lied to me about the urine test because if the results turn out to be negative, why would I have to take the antibiotics? Anyway, my conditions are getting worse, the infected area become swollen after I finished the drugs for a week. I went to another place. They did the urine test and ALSO, check inside the infected area just to find out that the results for urine was positive and I also have genital herpes. Now Im suffering because Ive wasted so much time on trusting this place and their docs. Well, all I can tell you is this, they are careless about their patients, they wouldnt even call to follow up on you. Thats it. Ill never go back to this place again even if it means having to drive miles away to a better place, better doc who can diagnose the right disease. Dont waste your time and money there like me. Go to some other place where docs are ethical and really care about their patients and know what theyre doing!

Liked this place until I was seen by Dr Kaplan. I waited an hour to be seen for a possible UTI. When I finally saw the nurse she told me a lame excuse about not being able to do the blood work I requested because they didnt have enough time to draw the blood and spin it in the centrifuge. I know enough about the medical field to know this was their way of saying theyre too lazy to do it an hour before they have to close. They had the nerve to try and get me to come back the next day for it (and have to pay another co-pay). I requested a urinalysis and culture as well. I heard the nurse speaking with Dr Kaplan outside my exam room before he came in. When the nurse asked about doing the culture Dr Kaplan said, "No". He then proceeded to come in with urinalysis results and tried to convince me that a high leukocyte reading concluded a UTI when all that really means is that there is inflammation. He only said he would perform the culture after I asked him why he was attempting to avoid doing one and then he left the room. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with a doctor. The woman doctor Ive seen before was great, but I will never go back thanks to Dr Kaplan.

Dont EVER set foot inside this "Drs Office". I went to get antibiotics for an infection and needed them urgently. Initially they were nice and I received no issues. Dr was quick and friendly, gave my me prescription and everything was fine. However, they are a SCAM. They charged me MORE than what my insurance deductible was and are receiving both my money and the reimbursement from the insurance claim and are telling me that "thats how our office is run" therefore admitting they are a FRAUD. They do not tell their patients to come claim their refunds because they keep it all. Ive been led around the moment I told them they charged me wrong. Ive been given fake names, false promises for a refund and ignored requests for the owner, whom I believe doesnt actually exist. Horrible service, if I could give this company a -5 stars I would. Investigation will follow soon. Do NOT go in here. Plenty of urgent cares around that wont scam you.
