Dr. Iammatteo delivered all 3 of my boys. I had twins my first time around as a result of In-Vitro. Before he even examined me he sat me in his office and explained about himself, his practice and what I should expect. That was amazing to me because most doctors do not take the time to get to know their patience this way. During my preganancy which went fine I developed preclampsia at 32 weeks and had to be delivered by c-section as an emergency. Dr. Iammatteo was all over the situation. He did not hesitate and instructed me quickly on what had to be done. The delivery was smooth and my healing was extremely quick. I was cleaning my bathroom 6 days after! Just under a year later I had my 2nd delivery which was a singleton (this was a suprise. No in-vitro with this one) Again, smooth delivery and minimal healing time from this scheduled c-section. I also had a tubal ligation following the c-section with no problems. I have always felt Dr. Iammatteo was thorough, took my questions or concerns and responded to them and has my best interest in mind when it comes to female health. I highly recommend him as a doctor and in fact have referred several friends.

I found out I was pregnant with our 2nd child shortly after we moved to a new town. I searched OBGYN docs in the area and I made an appt with Dr Graebe who I read wonderful reviews on. The appt was made almost a month prior and a week before the appt, I received a call from the office to reschedule the appt due to a schedule conflict -- which happens and thats fine. However the girl who called was EXTREMELY rude and unfriendly. Because we just moved to a new area, we were still in search of a babysitter for our 2 year old son and I didnt have super flexible schedule. The receptionist only had a handful of options to offer and when I was not able to meet any of her suggested dates & time, she sounded annoyed that I couldnt be more flexible. She called back with another time option and actually said on her voice message that if I cant make this time, then I should go find a different doctor. WOW. RUDE. Im sure the Dr Graebe is a wonderful doctor but this receptionist was so beyond rude, it really turned me off from going to this office.

I switch to Dr. Immatteo halfway through my second pregnancy b/c we moved. I found some visits he was fine to talk to, and some he was snippy and dismissive. He definitely pushed induction, which I resisted. He also barely listened to my symptoms (which may have been why we were all "surprised" my baby was over 10 lbs). So, youd think Id change doctors, EXCEPT...I had the BEST, BEST, BEST recovery from childbirth. VERY easy and I felt totally normal in just a few days. And I had a 10 lb, 3oz baby. Not a c-section. So, I required a LOT of stitches. I had fewer stitches with my first (different doctor) and it took me 6 weeks to be able to walk without crying. Dr. Immatteo said Id be fine with his stitches, and I was. Amazingly quickly. So, for me, that surgical skill is worth the somewhat lacking bedside manner. I do plan to find a new OB after Im done having children, though, when I dont necessarily need a great surgeon on hand. Until then, Im grateful for his skills.

Dr. Immateo, and the entire Madison Ave OB-GYN team, went above and beyond during my entire pregnancy and delivery. They always listened carefully to my questions and concerns, responded very quickly and with sensitivity, and took my health and the health of my child very seriously. They were also very friendly, responsive and great to work with. Dr. Immateo went above and beyond during my delivery and was extremely thorough in dealing with issues as they came up. All of the other Drs. and nurses at the hospital told me that I was in the best of hands, and I couldnt agree more. Dr. Graebe is also fantastic and I enjoyed all of the appointments that I had with her. Thanks to each and every member of the Madison-Avenue OB-GYN team!

I had a terrible experience with the receptionist. I just moved from another state, to Morristown. It seems impossible to have an appointment with this gynecologist unless I go to the emergency room. I needed to see a gynecologist , we are in August and his receptionist is telling me that this gynecologist is fully booked and I will have to wait until end of December. What kind of gynecologist is fully booked until end of December and cannot accept a sick patient? What kind of moral values doe she has! Does he think that sick patient can wait 4 months before being treated? is that what they teach him in medical school? Does he only see healthy patients, because when they are sick, he send them to the emergency room?

Dr. Iammatteo has delivered both of my children and I am grateful to him and his entire office staff. My first pregnancy resulted in an emergency c-section at 28 weeks. Dr. Iammatteo made my husband and I feel absolutely comfortable in a very terrifying situation. He was very calm, reassuring and patient with us every step of the way. Dr. Graebe and Karen, the Nurse Practicioner, are both absolutely wonderful. Easy to talk to, willing to address any concerns you may have. The staff is very accommodating. Im very happy to be a patient with Madison Ave OB/GYN.

I have been going to Dr. Immatteo for 11+ years now and I think he is an excellent doctor! He delivered my son 11 years ago, via C-section and he did a wonderful job!! I had a healthy and quick recovery, barely can see a scar, and experienced no complications whats so ever. He is easy to talk to and I never feel rushed through my visits. (and I ask a lot of questions!) Unlike some doctors I know, he will always follow up personally, if necessary and thats a big plus in my book! I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an OB-Gyn. Dr. Iammatteo and his staff are wonderful! He took his time, answered all my questions and he listened to what I had to say. There was no wait. I was there early and they took me in immediately. I have been going to him for 12 years. After my first pregnancy that didnt go so well I came to this office and have been very happy ever since. They took me in as soon as I didnt feel right. I was very nervous and they were very sensitive to my feelings. When the baby wasnt moving Dr. Karen would ultra sound to ease me from worrying. Thank You!
