I’ve been going to Dr. Raziano & Dr. DeStefano for years. Every single time I’ve had a spot on experience. The office is flawlessly clean, the staff are friendly and organized and I’ve always felt that both doctors have given me excellent care. Prices are competitive and I’ve never had an insurance issue. Can’t tell you how many mouth guards they’ve made me (kept losing them) but after playing ice hockey for 10 years I still have all my teeth! Whenever I come in I look forward to it because the docs give me great advice for keeping my teeth healthy. They have meticulous hygienists and I’ve continued to return to their practice even though I’ve moved two hours away. It’s also cool to learn about what they do in the community - Dr. Raz frequently does anti-oral cancer talks for student athletes at the local high schools and Dr. D volunteers as an attending dentist for residents at the RWJ dental school in New Brunswick. It’s not too often you see mom and pop practices any more, and this is the best one around! They also have a funny Instagram (@drsdestefanoraziano).

After a recent family visit to this in-network practice for having routine dental procedure the front office person impatiently presented me with bills and showed little interest to initially submit the claims to my insurance first so that I can pay the final balance later. In doing this they had such a rush to receive their payment so that by mistake submitted bill with a different insurance’s procedure code that resulted in a higher out of pocket cost for me. Later, they corrected their mistakes and resubmitted the bills after I complained. As a result ten claims were submitted which it could have been one or two? They over charged my HSA and after they received their money from the insurance then decided to deposit back the balance to my HSA account. Overall, it was very frustrating experience going to this office. If my experience is the normal experience for patients of this office then I am truly sorry for them. I found this practice very unprofessional. I am not recommending it to others.

I have been so happy with my experience with this practice! I see Dr DeStefano and she has been very professional and friendly. I used to have some anxiety about going to the dentist, but she makes me feel so comfortable I dont mind going at all anymore. I would recommend this practice highly!
