Ok. Granted doctor offices are busy & by now everyone should know enough to expect delays, and everyones experience will be different. With that said I had an appointment for 4:45pm(left early from work) I didnt leave the office till 6:00pm. As for the staff, I found them to be a bit scatter brained. As for the good doctor himself, I was very unsatisfied. I went in for an overall check up on my skin- adult acne. & dry skin around my nose. His recommendation was to get my skin exfolitated, not covered by my insurance mind you, the cost well over $200.00 and it wasnt a one time deal. When I told him I would gladly do it if my insurance covered it but couldnt since it didnt, his attitude & demeanor did change towards me. He wrote a prescription, that made my skin worse. That was over 2 years ago. Will I recommend him, NO!

This doctor does not operate under a "Do No Harm" motto. CONS: This doctor misdiagnosed my condition and performed an in-office procedure that made my condition significantly worse. Any competent doctor with good vision would have easily diagnosed and treated my condition differently. In addition, I waited almost nearly 2 hours to be seen. The office only takes cash and churns people in and out like a processing factory. I am going to another doctor now to treat the worsening of my condition and will be filing a complaint regarding this doctors malpractice.

Stay away from this doctor. Hes the rudest doctor Ive ever been to. Since I was unwilling for him to do a biopsy he changed his attitude towards me. He didnt want to answer my questions. When I insisted that he answers the main question I came with he ushered me out and said that he would call the police if I dont leave. When I asked for a refund he said that the undiagnosed mole on my back is going to kill me and hes not going to give me any money back. I left with such disgust for the doctor that I feel I have been mistreated unfairly.

Dr Peter Ilowite is wonderful. One thing is for sure. You will have a doctor who knows what he is doing and he has a staff, the same for many years (over 20), that are very pleasant. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Trust me, you made the right choice to see this skin doctor; if you want to get better, that is.
