When my wife and I moved to New Jersey we needed to find local doctors. I hit the jackpot when I made an appointment to see Dr. Girgis. From my first visit I was impressed with his staff and the way they greeted me. His offices are comfortable and the wait time to be seen by Dr. Girgis is always reasonable if not short. Whenever I call to schedule an appointment Mary Viola does a great job of fitting me in according to my scheudle. Marys great as are all of Dr. Girgis other employees. Dr. Girgis is a warm, caring and very talented doctor. He did my cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I could not have been happier with the results. After the surgery I told him my vision is so much better that I can now, almost, see into the future. I highly recommend Dr. Girgis to all of my friends and family and will continue to be a patient of his now and far into the future. Thanks for taking such wonderful care of me and my eyes Dr. Girgis. Not only was I over charged but then had to wait 45 minutes for a doctor who didnt know what lazy eye surgery was. I was also asked about my height and weight which have nothing to do with eyesight as well as medical conditions in my family that again have nothing to do with eyes. This place came highly recommended to me but I will never go back. The staff was rude and ignorant and ripped me off $35.

the staff is somewhat insulting and Insensitive, after they dilated my eyes, the nurse told me I would wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes, 45 minutes later I get a itll just e a few more minutes. - unfortunately, I have things to do in my day and cant be scheduling the rest of my day based off inaccurate information. this has happened 3 times in a row now.

Dr Girgis is very caring and did a thorough examination of my eyes and answered any questions I had regarding my eyes. The front desk was polite and helpful and the doctors technicians are very kind and proficient. I would recommend this office to all my family and friends.

i think he should have his practice closed very unprofessional and uneducated as an ophthalmologist he is more like an optometrist prescribing glasses and contacts only he doest even treat his glaucoma patient correctly
