Valley Medical Group Wayne is a medical facility located in Wayne, New Jersey. The organization falls under the category of a doctor's office and offers a range of healthcare services. The facility has garnered a rating of 2.7, indicating mixed reviews from patients.
Many patients have expressed dissatisfaction with the long wait times at the facility. Some patients reported waiting for more than an hour despite having an appointment. The reception staff has also been criticized for being either unprofessional or lacking in compassion.
The reviews on the quality of medical care are mixed. Some patients praise the doctors for their competence and caring nature. However, others have criticized the facility for being more focused on collecting co-pays than providing quality healthcare. There are also reports of patients being referred to other doctors or the emergency room, rather than receiving treatment at the facility.
The front office staff has received mixed reviews. While some find them helpful, others describe them as rude and thoughtless. There are also complaints about the facility's phone service, with reports of long hold times when trying to make an appointment.
Some patients have had positive experiences when their primary care physician was unavailable, stating that Valley Medical Group Wayne was a convenient alternative. However, others have reported being turned away for various reasons, including the facility's closing time and the nature of their medical condition.
Valley Medical Group Wayne appears to be a facility with both strengths and weaknesses. While some patients have had positive experiences, particularly with the medical staff, there are significant concerns about wait times and customer service. The mixed reviews suggest that the quality of care and service can vary, making it essential for potential patients to consider multiple factors before choosing this facility for their healthcare needs.

If you are in pain...do not go here. You will be sitting and waiting at least an hour ....plan to be here at least 2 hours. Continuing on here.. when i was leaving i requested a note for work about no lifting. The receptionist wrote up a note to not return to work for 3 days...not what i wanted. Again i requested a no lifting note...she took a few moments to just stare at me. The receptionist next to her said...just write a note she cannot lift. . At this point my bus was coming and i simply was out of patience with it. I went to pharmacy to fill script and called requesting the no lifting note be faxed. She went back and forth with me until i basically told her if it was not something she was capable of then put someone on the phone thaf can do it. Enough already...so i thought. I show up to work the next day...and guess what...she indeed faxed the no lifting note...along with a no return to work for 2 days. I lost a days pay...thank you. Basically...the receptionist is either spiteful or incompetent. Bad for office settings...especially in the medical capacity.

I have been here before with mixed results but today was horrified. Went there early and the receptionist grilled me about what was wrong, asked me personal questions and then told me I should see my specialist - I told her they were not available / would not be soon and I had extreme pain in my arm / tingling / was losing feeling in my arm. She told me "her sister has had the same thing" after rotator cuff surgery ( I had this over a month ago) and that I should NOT be there. I told her I was worried about a blood clot and she was like "you cant die of a blot clot" (I kid you not) and finally said -"ok Ill let you see a doctor if you insist"....I LEFT and made an appt at another doctors in an hour. HORRENDOUS!!!

Horrific! I cannot express how horrible the wait time is to see a physician at Valley Medical Group. The appointment was for 3:30pm and we arrived a half an hour early just to sit until 5:30pm to be seen. Office staff, not all, but some of the office staff are unprofessional with very bad attitudes. Working with patients requires a level of compassion and patience, which some of these folk lack...severely. If it were not for the great doctors here, we would find another primary. Since, we love the care received from the physicians. ..we will have to deal with it. Smh.

If you are looking for quality then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. These doctors only want to take your $$ and send you to the emergency room or off to another doctor. They refuse to refill your prescriptions because they want to see you to collect your co-pay. If you are recovering from a surgery or a serious illness they are too scared to treat you and will pass you off to other doctors outside of their practice. I was a patient for a couple of years and noticed the rapid decrease in their professionalism and caring. Do yourself a favor FIND ANOTHER SET OF DOCTORS.

Very professional! Have been here on 4 or 5 occasions. Each and every time they have been able to help me in a timely manner. I have had appointments and have also been a walk-in patient. There have been times when there was a little weight, but tell me, what doctor do you go to with an appointment that you dont wait? Dr. Flowers is very competent and caring. The physicians assistants are also very competent.

I called the Wayne office on 6/6/16 to try to make an appointment. I was on hold for 35 minutes. My husband called on his phone, and was on hold for 15 minutes. He hung up and called again. After being on hold another 10 minutes someone finally answered. My call was still on hold. If they cant handle the phone volume, they should hire more people. There is no reason for this. Its rude and thoughtless.

very Unfriendly and not caring they present themselves as a urgent care faculty but in fact they are just a doctors group my mother in-law was there because her hand was hurting and they reuse to see her because they said they were not her primary Doctor. This is the 2nd time they were not able to help my family and would never go back again.

I see negative reviews here about staff and that has not been my experience. I found them helpful, busy, but helpful. The doctors, especially Dr.Slater, was very thorough and caring. I would definitely return. I will say the office can be pretty busy sometimes, but overall I am satisfied and happy to have a place like this locally.

Would give zero stars if I could. I walked in there with a blood gushing out of a hole in my shin, and they turned me away because they were closing in a few minutes. Completely unfriendly and uncaring. Should not use "urgent care" in their name, as there is no urgency or care involved.

Ignorant people telling me what I can and cant do. Not sure how interrupting potential customers before they can finish their question promotes a positive environment. Im sure you can get more friends and family to post 5 star reviews to embellish your poor facility.

Have helped both of my children when their primary care physician was closed on a Sunday or away on vacation, 3-4 times over the last 2 years. Nice to have them around, and no, I am not a family or friend of anyone working there as some reviewers have posted.
