I made my appointment, I filled out all the forms, went there and waited 20 minutes. ... I have an insurance plan that has a deductible. Mine did not reach the needed amount yet and the card states that the copay should be collected AFTER the deductible has been met. They wanted to collect the copay immediately, I told them they should not collect it. A little later they wanted to collect even more money without billing the insurance. They told me they checked how much I would be paying after the copay.(?) They said it is the office policy to collect upfront, but with deductible insurance it should not be the case. They accept the insurance but clearly do not understand how it works. It even says on my card in CAPS, "COPAYMENTS APPLY AFTER THE MEMBER HAS MET THE DEDUCTIBLE." My husbands company reimburses our deductible after the doctors office submits the claim to the insurance, but if I pay out of my pocket I wont be reimbursed. I wasted my time there while I could have gone somewhere else. PROBLEM: Billing Department may not have correct knowledge about handling Horizon Advantage EPO packages or other Insurance Policies. They were going to charge me $80 even though my Insurance Card specifically not to pay until my deductible is paid. RECOMMENDATIONS for NEW PATIENTS: Please do your due diligence before going in this office so you do not waste your time. Im sure they are nice people and staff; unfortunately this happened because the Billing Department Representative did not understand our Horizon Advantage EPO Policy.

Went to Dr. Lindsey Calligaro for an ankle issue that no other "specialist" would attempt to treat. The pain was persistent and agonizing. Dr. Calligaro ordered an MRI and spoke directly with the radiologist to discuss the results. She listened to my symptoms and performed surgery. The day after surgery, the pain I had for many years was completely gone! The office staff is friendly and professional and the exam rooms are spotless. If your appointment is at 3pm, you will be seen at or before that time - the punctuality is something Ive never seen in a doctors office. She takes her time and makes you feel like you are the only patient. I am delighted with the surgery results, the post-op visits and the entire experience in general. Would not hesitate to recommend Wayne Foot & Ankle to anyone!

My experience at the office is always fantastic. Dr. Chau is the most wonderful doctor Ive ever dealt with. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She fitted me for my orthotics and fixed my foot pain. The staff is always accommodating and cheerful. I have recommended Dr. Chau to my friends and when they have thanked me over and over again. Its always a pleasure to deal with great and caring doctors.

The doctors and staff are wonderful. I had a bunion surgery done on New Years Eve day. I had some questions and the doctors answered them promptly even though it was late and a holiday. The office is beautiful and always clean, and the staff goes out of their way to help patients. I recommend these doctors to everyone I know.

Some of these glowing reviews look suspicious. Bruce Calligaro is an unskilled surgeon who attempts to conceal it with strong social skills. His employees are rude and/or slovenly. I was very disappointed with the results of a "routine" procedure on a bone spur. Then Calligaro made two mistakes on a prescription.

Dr. Lindsey was fabulous! She was thorough explaining my surgery and her post-op care was the best. Highly recommend her to others. My daughter was also treated by her for a problem that she had for five years and now it is gone. Her staff is top notch as well. Cant be more please with my outcome.
