Please tell Dr. John Lichtenstein that I am no longer his patient. I am only speaking for myself not my wife. If Dr. John had not rudely hung up on me earlier today, I would I have told him this myself. You can tell him that I overheard him say to my wife Lorie, quote: "Your husband hit one of my patients!" How horrible to make such an accusation. He did not say, "My patient claims you hit her." He said that I did it. Not true, She hit me. I tried to explain this to Dr, John and he bitched me out instead and told me, quote: "Then find another doctor! and he hung up on me. And this treatment by him happened on a very stressful day with my wife being so ill and not knowing what it is. Shame on Dr, John. He really needs to apologize to me. Dr. John is loud, annoying, condescending, sarcastic and very very very rude. He yells in my ear while taking my blood pressure and then wonders why my pressure went up. Only when I am around him. Loud yelling in a high pitched voice "Starbase 9 to Command Control" in the intercom is not conducive to a calm doctor experience. Perhaps Dr. John seems to have a lot of certificates on his walls but I think he serious needs to take a course in bedside manner, how to speak pleasantly and QUIETLY to a sick person, and to stop saying things like, quote: "You have a big problem!!" as he first walks into the examination room. I am now looking for a new doctor, one who doesnt yell like Jerry Lewis, "Oh THAT does look good!" when he treats you. Dr. John and his staff all look very unhealthy. The office is a mess with supplies and papers everywhere. And all the plants are dying. Do I really want medical practitioners taking care of me who cant take care of themselves or even their plants?

Cannot be trusted! He states one thing then contradicts himself in the next sentence. He pads his bills with phony treatments that have no relevance. He is a backbiter disparaging other providers. Though he claims to be board certified in addiction treatment we heard him lying boldly to a patient in need of meds required as they left inpatient treatment, which, by the way, was a HIPAA violation as well as a violation of the Hippocratic oath to "first do no harm." He claimed it was illegal for him to prescribe discharge meds, but instead of calling the doctor discharging the patient, he took it out on the patient. A member of his staff had to intervene to correct his lies over the legality of prescribing a three day supply. Subsequently he had to relent and give the appropriate and customary medication to the patient but not without causing great anxiety to the patient. What kind of doctor withholds accepted standards of care? One out of touch with 21st century medicine. We sought treatment for a simple sinus infection, but he had to ask how to spell the antibiotic name. If he is board certified its likely been decades since he was recertified as doctors in their late 70s were grandfathered past the current standard of ongoing recertification. This means he is way beyond knowing current research proven diagnostic modalities which makes him dangerous. He lies with the conviction of an addict looking for a fix. Run for your life...
