I had a terrible experience at this office over 2 yrs ago. I went in for excessive tears in one eye. I forgot the name of the doctor, but he was in his mid-30s. Well, he first flushed my tear duct and then told me that I needed to get a CAT scan and then said that its possible that I could have cancer. I freaked out about what he said to me and felt that it was very unprofessional about how he handled this situation. I refused to get the CAT scan because its equivalent to 6-10 X-Rays going into my brain. The following day, I had yellow puss coming out of my tear duct. I saw my allergist who prescribed ANTIBIOTICS! Thats all I needed for the cure NOT A CAT SCAN!!!! I was furious and decided not to ever return to the Westfield office again while that Dr is still in practice with this eye care & surgery center. It seemed like a total waste of money that I spent at the Westfield location. I think that doctors who prescribe CAT scans for an infection are paranoid about lawsuits.

Going to Eye Care & Surgery Center for Lasik surgery was the best decision I ever made. I have wanted this surgery for many years and put it off until I could feel confident that I had the right doctor. Dr Confino and his staff were thorough and diligent from my initial exam through the surgery and post op. When you know the doctor is excellent having Lasik is so easy! The office was extremely organized with pre-op instructions, explaining the surgery itself so I would know step by step what was happening, payment options, post op care, etc. so there were no issues from beginning to end. Make your appointment today; you will not regret it.

My son just broke his eye glasses at school so I called the office to see if I can make an ealier appointment with the pediatric eye doctor. One of the receptionists there was very rude. She began to raise her voice and ready to hang up the phone after I asked whether there is another pediatric eye doctor around for an earlier appointment. Then she yielded when I wanted to confirm the date. With this kind of attitude, I can only immage what kind of outburst would you get if you have other questions.

What a wonderful place! The staff and doctors really care... I have never had anyone spend so much time explaining a medical procedure and take such care to be sure I understood and felt comfortable. They always treated me with kindness and were very professional. The procedure itself was wonderful and to be able to wake up the next morning and see the small numbers across the room was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend!

I wanted to say thank you to Dr. Confino for freeing me from contacts and glasses. I had my LASIK surgery last night and am already back to work. My experience was very pleasant, everyone was very professional and helpful and took their time to make sure I understood everything. Thank you to Jarete as well. Highly recommend Dr.Confino!

I like this place. Several months back, my dads eye got scratched by my son and he felt too hurt to even open the eye. The stuff there were very nice and doctor has provided very effective treatment so that my dad got better soon. I would recommend it to my friends.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE THE WORST! THE DOCTOR WAS CLULESS AND IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! I highly recommend Summit eye group in Summit NJ if you are looking for an eye care center

The doctor did not spend enough time with me. I was rushed out of the door. It is very unpleasant. I gave it one star because the staffs are nice.
