First timer at Eyecare 20/20. I honestly can say I really enjoyed Dr. Xanthos. He was very friendly, very patient in explaining all your questions and concerns and really seemed like he knew enough to make one feel comfortable. Ill give him 5 stars. My 3 star review is based upon this: I can not explain enough that a HUGE portion of a patients return to a doctors visit is the RECEPTIONIST. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes before scheduled and I was greeted by a younger girl who looked as if I had walked in 30 minutes late to my appointment. She has asked who I was seeing, and since I had never been there before nor did she give me a name when I made the appointment I told her I didnt know what doctor. She handed me the clip board and asked me to fill it out. Throughout the 30 minutes I encountered her while I waited for the doctor she seemed very unpleasant. Which to me makes me feel very uncomfortable. If it wasnt for the $100 fitting fee I had to pay, I wouldnt return again due to the unfriendly interaction with the front desk girl. Receptionist are a dime a dozen, I am very shocked they keep girls like this around in a doctors office where people spend their heart earned money. I wasnt expecting a red carpet, but a nice greeting would suffice.

I was given an attitude as soon as I walked in the front door. Waited a month to be treated like the woman couldnt be bothered. My family and friends wont be back.

Dr. Xanthos is great. Takes his time to explain everything carefully. Hes simply a really nice person.
