This hospital bills itself as a "Niche hospital dedicated to elder care." Nothing could be further from the truth. On Christmas night my 92 year old father experienced an uncontrollable nose bleed. He called 911 and the ambulance took him to Little Falls hospital. They packed his nose and wanted to send him to Cooperstown via ambulance but his blood pressure was too high for transport. So they sent him home with his cleaning lady. Great. Hes too unstable to send anywhere in an ambulance and you wont keep him in the hospital so you SEND HIM HOME? WITH HIS CLEANING LADY?? How is this dedicated care?? You should be ashamed of yourself. You just didnt want to be bothered with an old mans problems on Christmas night. And when I tried to call the hospital to discuss this situation with them I was either put on hold for hours or sent straight to voicemail. Extremely unsatisfactory!!

Bassett needs a thorough review of this hospital and its doctors before they find themselves with more lawsuits than caregivers. My mother had a bad fall and went there for emergency care for her leg. She was given an x-ray, told no broken bones and sent home, despite her leg doubling in size and almost completely purple. What they ignored was that she was on blood thinners for A-Fib - which she told them (my mother keeps her health history and prescriptions with her at ALL TIMES) and they should have kept her for close observation. She continued to bleed into her leg, lost pints of blood and ended up in emergency care at ANOTHER HOSPITAL - where she still is 3 days later undergoing blood transfusions because of the negligence of Little Falls Hospital doctors. If you care about your health or that of a loved one in any way, do not ever go to this hospital!

My mother went here for problems in her upper GI and after several attempts of talking with her physician she was sent for ER visit. The nurse by the name of Renee Fredrick was so kind. Me and my fiance are both in the medical field in the state of Arizona and came from the Little falls area. My mother hates hospital but understands the importance. They were able to locate the problem change the med and listen to her. She called me and said her experience was so amazing and very timely. I just want to say thnk you Renee and the tending doctor for being such a great ER nurse and doctor.

I had the best dialysis treatment ever at the Hospital. The staff was amazing! DaVita could learn a thing or two on how to do dialysis. Just amazing.
