SO DISSAPPOINTED to find out the doctor I so respected and counted on really doesnt care about her patients as much as the all mighty $ I was a patient of Dr Restivo (who was highly recommended to me) for many years. I was very happy with her. Unfortunately I had to switch my insurance to one that she did not accept so I was forced to find a new PCP. Because I really did not want to leave, I would call Dr Restivos office every year in hopes that she started taking my insurance. I was so happy to find out that she finally did! When I went to make an appointment, her office staff said because it had been many years since I was there I would be considered a NEW patient and she was NOT accepting new patients. I explained the situation and requested to speak to her directly. I was told she would call me back..... which she did not! She had her office staff call me and give a half hearted apology saying they spoke to her and she is not accepting new patients which I would be considered even though I was a former patient!! Guess my insurance doesnt pay her going rate! Wouldnt you think a doctor would be happy to get a former patient back especially one so persistent with a desire to return! Is this the type of person you want treating you, putting your life in her hands, who will turn her back on you and not even have the decency to speak to you directly !?!

This is the best Primary Care Doctor anyone could ask for. She is excellent at diagnosing, Will follow her anywhere and I have already done so twice. Also the Doctors she recommends are excellent in every way.
