Dr. Fazio is wonderful! I am beyond grateful that I found him. Ive been wanting my amalgam fillings replaced for almost a decade now but something always stopped me. I was nervous about it being done safely / having a dentist take me seriously. I tried bringing up the subject with other dentists and was told I was "being silly" or "Come on. Do you really think a small amount of mercury will hurt you?" I became discouraged and gave up for a while but when more information came my way recently and I became determined to find a way. I researched for a few weeks and finally came across Dr. Fazios website. He was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I called his office and spoke to a lovely receptionist (everyone in the office is extremely kind and helpful) who answered a few of my initial questions and recommended I come in for a consultation. I came in to talk with Dr. Fazio and it was everything I had hoped for. He is so personable and really took the time to listen to and answer all of my questions. He explained every detail of the procedure and really set my mind at ease. I had done a ton of research about how I should prep for heavy metal detoxing and he added to that by printing out detailed information for me about recommended supplements / detox options. We talked for over an hour and I didnt feel rushed or talked down to AT ALL. I live in Sunnyside, Queens (15 minutes from Manhattan) and it is well worth the 2 hour train ride to see Dr. Fazio in Port Jefferson. When I sit in the waiting room I can really tell that all of his patients are happy with their experiences. I had my first round of fillings replaced a week ago and it couldnt have gone better. I knew exactly what to expect and felt SAFE. Im getting the rest out this weekend and am so excited to finally have a mercury free mouth! If youve been thinking about having your amalgam fillings replaced -- hes your guy. Type his name into YouTube -- there are several wonderful videos of him talking about how he runs his practice. Im over the moon!!

Dr Fazio is simply the best. I had avoided dentistry and taking care of my teeth for a very long time due to always being so scared of the dentist! But Dr Fazio has eased my nerves every time I am there, and his staff are equally as comforting. Right now I am having my mercury fillings removed and replaced, then I am doing all the stuff I should have been doing all along (whitening, straightening, replacing my old front cap). I cannot recommend him highly enough!
