My Dad was admitted to this hospital for a TAVR procedure. He is 88 yrs old, and this was the best option to open heart surgery. My family and I could not have been more impressed with the way we were handled from the moment we walked in the doors. from the security guard to the info desk, to employees walking in the halls asking if they could help us get where we needed to go (unsolicited help I might add), the doctors, and nursing staff could not have been better. My father was on 2W after the procedure and ICU (which there was a nurse attending JUST to my dad) Amazing! The nurses on 2W went above and beyond in their care , their empathy and attentiveness. They displayed this with all patients , not just my Dad. I cannot say enough good things, but I can say, this is the way a hospital should operate. It also was immaculately clean everywhere I went from rooms, to bathrooms, hallways, lunch room cafe (they could do a little better with food here for sure but it is ok). Thank you St. Frances Hospital for your genuine care and concern. Its nice to see people doing a job they love. Thank you again. The Family of Harry J. McLaughlin

Very dissatisfied with this hospital for a plethora of reasons. My mother in law has been in the ICU for days, my family has been given minimal support and only essential details. This hospital seems to be overwhelmed at every corner. The prior reviews claim this is the best hospital in New York. As an outsider from another state, if this is the best than ghee, what do most New York hospitals look like! My husband was admitted to the ER and was almost forced to stay overnight, for what seemed like a frivolous reason just to get money. There was only one doctor managing tons of patients. The food at the patio cafe is awful! There arent enough waiting rooms either--they turned a conference room on the ICU floor into our waiting area.

The ER is very unorganized, patient is the last priority. Being a not busy working days evening , no Dr was available to see me even after 3 hrs. I have had triple bypass and went in with chest pain 9 out of 10 on a scale of 0-10. Unbelievable!

Its the best Hospital in New York! Doctors are caring and knowledgeable and the Nursing staff cant do enough for you. All other hospitals strive to be as great as Saint Francis Hospital. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

This hosp go agents dr.orders and keep people in bed when they can stand and walk on they own they keep them that way and they gets more week this is more of a heart hosp. Not a hosp. For t other med prob.
