Will never bring my dog back ... Encouraged to early vaccinate and over vaccinate - they charge a vet visit every time your dog is due for a vaccine, even if you were just seen by the vet and choose to go back when the next vaccine is due. This is not customary for other practices and was told that is is their "office policy". I never bother writing reviews, but found their policies to only benefit their pockets - not even willing to waive office visit based on a "misunderstanding" when my dog was seen by the vet in the last 60 days. Was told that if I want to board my dog with them they can waive vet visit fee, but if I want to go elsewhere I have to pay the full amount - clearly has everything to do with money and nothing to do with the overall well being of the animal!

There is no other facility on long Island that has more devotion than the entire staff at Westbury Animal Hospital does. They are true animal lovers humanatarians, and take great care with their patients. I have been taking my pets their for well over ten years and have never felt over charged, or that any of my pets were being mistreated in any way. Dr Wilder makes it a point to make follow up with phone calls personally regarding any testing and one gets a real comfort level from him and his entrire staff I highly recommend them. One of Long Islands best

We have been coming to Westbury Animal for over 13 years. Our first mastiff Ceile was always so excited to see Dr. Wilder and his staff. They always took great care of her. When it was time for Ceile to go to heaven Dr.Wilder and his staff were very compassionate. Heck, they even cried. Which shows that your pet means a lot to them. Our new mastiff puppy Madigan is coming here now. We think very highly of Dr. Wilder and his staff. They rock. Sincerely, Theresa, Mike and Madigan.

My family and I have been using Dr. Wilder and his terrific staff for over 25 years and over 5 pets. Drs. Wilder and Cronin have been there for the puppy years though the senior years. They have offered kindness, compassion and top notch medical care at all times. This was especially evident when end of life issues of a family pet were encountered or a medical emeregency arose. We could never imagine owning a pet without the support of the Westbury Animal Hospital.

Absolutely excellent service. This place is now known as Village Vets of Westbury, but they are great! I brought my frenchie here last week to get checked out, they gave me a same-day appointment, diagnosed the problem, gave us meds, called me a week later to check in (Sunrise Animal Hospital does not do this). I have to say they have won my business, I will be coming here for all my vet needs.

I highly recommend Westbury Animal. I have been using Dr. Wilder for many years, and have always found him to be kind, considerate and compassionate. Although I no longer live in the immediate area, I continue to travel to Westbury for Dr. Wilders expertise. I recently adopted a kitten from Westbury Animal, and it is apparent that the kitten was well loved and cared for

Ive been bringing Stinky the cat to Dr. Wilder for years! (Her formal name is Harriet Bono). All kidding aside - Every person on staff at Westbury Animal hospital is very nice, and Dr. Wilder is especially kind and pleasant - in addition to being an excellent veterinarian! Highly recommended! Great animal hospital. I have referred them to many of my friends.

Westbury Animal Hospital is a facility that I would highly recommend. I had brought my collie, Brandy to Dr. Wilder due to an infection on his paw; after a through exam, Dr. Wilder presented me with several options and then together we agreed on a treatment. I was impressed with his expertise as well as his concern. Both Brandy and I did well!

Id like to thank Dr. Wilder and his staff for helping me through my cats urinary tract infection. I thought my cat was going crazy by peeing on the rug. So I brought him and it turns out that a not urinating in the litter box is a symptom of a UTI. After a round of antibiotics, he is back to normal. Thank you.

When my 12 year old dog was dying of cancer they were great in helping me weigh the options and not pressuring me which I greatly appreciated after having a completely opposite experience at an emergency animal hospital nearby. Just what I needed at a very difficult time.

Dr. Wilder and his staff are the best.I took my cat there after many visits at another vet with no sucess.Dr. Wilder diagnosed a rare cancer.After surgery and some chemo my cat is like new again-Thanks to the entire staff-The bill was reasonable and my cat is fine
