DEFINITELY would not recommend this place to my WORST ENEMY!!!! I recently moved to Norman from Dallas, TX and was looking for a good doctor to see since I felt I was having troubles stemming from my Mirena. I scheduled an appointment to be seen for that and also to have my annual exam- should have known there would be trouble after that since there was more talk to my nurse about the Mirena than my doctor, who did "check" it after my exam and said it looked great. I had to take it upon myself to call back for lab results after I had been told they would get back with me and was then told that I had to look online for my results. I thought maybe I was just overlooked in that process (even though I still couldnt tell you the website address to check it, but I did get an e-mail with the information). Fast forward a few more weeks and I am still having terrible problems so I call and TRY to schedule an appointment. The first time, no questions asked Im transferred to billing. The second time I am transferred to billing AGAIN and leave a voice mail. I waited a little while, then decided to call billing back thinking "Why would I have to speak with billing before they can schedule me?" So I spoke with someone in billing and she said she had no idea why, she checked my account and of course it showed a zero balance, so I was transferred back to a different lady in scheduling AGAIN. As soon as I told them what I needed to be seen for she said they couldnt schedule me for that. Well, great! This thing has to come out eventually, wonder how anyone ever gets it scheduled? I was very upset by that time, so instead of losing my temper I just had to hang up. I stewed about it and called back a little while later. I was told immediately again by scheduling that I needed to be transferred to billing and I explained what I had already been through- the lady stated she could see my "encounter" from this morning and explained that they needed to check my benefits. I was put on hold and transferred to billing again. I was told that I had to wait (for an indefinite amount of time) for them to check my benefits. Then, and only then I was told I could schedule an appointment to talk to my doctor about having it removed - which I assumed I already had- and after that I could set up another appointment to actually have it removed. OR I had the option to pay out of my pocket the full price to have the procedure done and they would schedule it. Dont know about anyone elses insurance but I am allowed 6 doctor visits a YEAR - this mockery of a professional office is saying that just to have a fairly standard procedure done I would have to have at least 3 visits first. Unacceptable, TERRIBLE service, no inkling of a care given or anything, meanwhile I will have to apparently take my business somewhere else I dont know, get on another list and start the whole process over. I sincerely hope this does not happen to anyone else feeling as terrible as I do right now, and I would like to think someone in charge will read this to see what its like being on the other side of their "care".

I LOVE Dr Anderson! I Had previouse miscarriages so I was high risk when I first got in to see her. She answered all my questions made me feel so much better about my pregnancy. We did weekly checks to start with to make sure my levels were staying up. She set me up to me enduced and 11 hours later we determined he wasnt coming out, so we did a c-section. I wouldnt have had it any other way! When I went in for my check up I had been having some major pain but forgot to mention it during my visit. as she was walking into another patients room I cought her and told her of this pain, she simply said its your gallbladder the girls can set you up to see another dr for that, sure enough she was right! She is amazingly smart and I love her! Then about 9 months after I had my first baby I got prego with an IUD..ended up having to have exploritory surg to find where the baby was growing. Everything was fine, but had dr anderson not told me to come in emediatly for that I could have bleed to death if my tube busted. Then I got prego with my second child 3 years later and went to her. I had placenta previa with this one and she made sure I was well aware of everything that could happen and at the same time made me feel comfortable. Once again I had a perfect c-section and I have two healthy babies! My experiense with Dr Anderson and her staff has been nothing but Wonderful! I did pay my bill and never had a problem with any over charge or late fee or anything. I did have to wait a while sometimes to get into see her but it was all worth the wait in my opinion, because when you have a crappy dr you learn to appriciate the great ones! ~sasha

Dr. Anderson and the entire Womens Healthcare of Norman staff does not care about anything other than money. The last time I went, I found out that they had double booked my time slot. I had to wait over 50 minutes for my appointment. This wasnt a one time mistake either, I have had to wait over 30 minutes every time I have gone. The office staff is also extremely rude and uncaring. After my last pap smear, I received a phone call and message saying that my test results were in. Everyday for two weeks, I called back asking to speak with someone for my test results. I was hung up on multiple times, left on hold forever, or sent straight to voicemail. Finally after two weeks, someone called me back saying Someone HAS called you and told you your tests results by now, right?? No one should have to wait that long for potentially devastating test results. One good thing I do have to say is that Dr. Andersons assisstant Amy is wonderful. However, that one plus cant make up for so many negatives in my opinion. I have already made an appointment with a different doctor!

Dr Anderson is abrasive. I understand she may be a good doctor, but her personality is lacking ANY bedside manner. I dont have her as a doctor but mine was unavailable and I unfortunately had to see Dr. Anderson twice. I left so angry both times that I was steaming. She is rude , repeatitive and arrogant. I dont appreciate being treated like Im a child. Nor do I appreciate being treated like I lack the intelligence to care for myself. She was rude to me in front of my child and said things that were inappropriate. I am considering switching my doctor just so I dont have to risk dealing with Dr. Anderson, ever again.

I have had Dr. Anderson as my doctor for many years. I have always found her to be kind, caring and extremely effective. She has dealt with me in an emergency situation in the ER and many times in the office. I only dread her breast exams (ouch), but she is thorough. My only complaint is that I moved away to Texas for two years and now must wait over 4 months to book an appointment. She is a great doctor.
