A whole new dental experience! Dr. Kutsch and his team are 21st century professionals with a highly intentional state of the art dental practice. Their use of digital photography with panoramic and portable x-ray machines lets you see your teeth like youve never seen them before...from all angles, giant sized and in 3D! Dr. Kutsch is clearly a wizard with the computer as well as with his state of the art dental practice. I went in for a second opinion after going to see my Salem dentist for a toothache on a tooth that already had a crown. They told me I should probably have an implant and the bill would be $5000! With no dental insurance, I looked for a dentist that would be familiar with implants, to get another assessment and hopefully a lower cost for the implant I was told I needed. I found Dr. Kutsch and made my appointment on-line, and got an appointment almost immediately (I was in pain). I was ushered in within 5 minutes of my appointment time for a quick and painless panoramic x-ray, and then seated in the examining room. A few questions from the assistant re: my health status, etc., and Dr. Kutsch came in, introducing himself as Carson. He verified some info with me about my problem, did a quick exam of my mouth and then showed me what he was seeing in the x-ray images. The cool thing was that the computer was positioned so that I could very easily see the screen and follow exactly what he was seeing and saying! Imagine my surprise when he told me that he did not see that it would be necessary to go to an implant, and that he would recommend saving the tooth with a crown replacement! This would of course be less invasive, less costly, less painful and less time-consuming and he predicted the potential for it being a successful medium or long-term solution at over 80% probability. Add to this that if it failed anytime within a 3 year period, he would credit the amount paid for the crown to the next level of intervention (a root canal, NOT an implant)! Needless to say, after hearing this careful analysis, I went for the crown and they did it on the spot! The crowns are made in-house, there was no temporary necessary and I was in and out with my new crown within 2 hours with no return visits required. While I wont say the procedure was fun, I did feel like it was as fast, comfortable and efficient as possible. Best of all, I was treated with respect, and fully included in the decision-making by being provided with full information about the reasons for the procedures I might need, the options he considered, and a step-wise, lower to higher cost analysis. Others have written about the office waiting room, but that makes the first impression when you walk in.... This dentist has considered the subjective experience and comfort of his patients from the minute they walk in the door. You are greeted immediately with a smiling and pleasant receptionist and seated in a waiting room with multiple considerations for your comfort.... not only are there different types of chairs to suit individual needs, some with adaptive supports for those with back issues, but there are fresh hot and cold beverages to be enjoyed, again with multiple options for different preferences, and great healthy snacks including fresh fruit! Big wow factor with this dental office for me and I have only listed some of the remarkable service features. Best of all, my new crown seems perfect after only a couple of weeks and the tooth colored porcelain makes it unnoticeable; a nice change after all the gold! Thanks "Carson" and team. Your special efforts do not go unnoticed, even if your crowns do. :)

Well, what can I say about Dr Kutsch other than he and ALL of his staff are the absolutely, best, fantastic, awesome, great, brilliant people EVER !!! They made me feel right at home, listened to all of my concerns, gave me their professional advice and recommendations and, although I knew they would make my teeth look better, they actually went so much more way above that and did an OUTSTANDING job that was a billion times way better than I ever imagined. I nearly cried when I seen the work that they did, I honestly did not think they could do that but boy, how wrong I was. From the very first moment of calling their office to schedule an appointment right through to when I was walking out of the door, they treated me with the up most respect, was extremely kind and made me laugh with some of Carsons jokes (One of them was when he had finished doing my front teeth, he said to me, "Oh, did you want all your front teeth the same colour???" That took the edge off me feeling nervous, a lot :-) This was quite different than any of my past dental visits in England and I would never even think about going anywhere else in future. Apart from everyone being so nice and pleasant to me, to the professionalism of the work, I could never imagine how awesome a dentist visit could be. Top marks and way above go to Dr Kutsch and his lovely assistant Julianne, Alison who did a fantastic job with cleaning my teeth and giving them a good polish and got into all the nicks and crannies that even I dont want to touch, Stefanie who registered me as a new patient and listened to my concerns and not forgetting the fantastic Traci on the front desk who is just always so happy and great. Overall, everyone who works there are all infinite percentage AWESOME who now have me as a patient for the rest of my natural born days. Most of all, I can now smile in public without feeling embarrassed or trying to hide my smile...THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH :-) They did it again yesterday for me. I was in horrible agony from the worst toothache ever so I called the office and Jenny got me an emergency appointment to have my toothache fixed. It must have taken roughly about 20 mins from the time I called to them telling me they had me scheduled in the next couple of hours. Jenny is just so amazing, she couldnt do enough to help me and get me seen ASAP and got me in to have a root canal done. From the moment I called the office to the moment I was having work done must have only been about 2 hours, now that is extremely fast. I am happy to say that I am no longer in pain, my tooth was repaired and I honestly cannot thank Jenny and everyone at Dr Kutschs office enough. I knew this was a awkward time as Dr Kutschs wife is expecting their latest addition to the family but they bent over backwards and got me taken care of and for that, I am truly grateful. What an amazing team which makes me love them even more than I already did :-)

I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone if I could. I personally have had some of THE WORST dental experiences, but there was something about this place that called me to check it out. Maybe it was the friendly person who first answered the phone, or maybe it was the fact that the office is incredibly warm and inviting, and even maybe after all that it could be the fantastic staff that Mr. Carson has working for him. I have had the amazing pleasure of working with Jenny and Julianne personally and those two are some of the sweetest, caring, bright people Ive had the pleasure of meeting in a dental office. As for the actual experience that led me to this review, here we go. I had "cracked my tooth" over one weekend and utterly freaked out, called the emergency line and was beyond grateful when Jenny called me back and handled my freak out moments amazingly! Once I got to the office on Monday Julianne called me back (and I was so grateful it was her and not someone I hadnt met yet, made the experience a lot easier). Once back there it didnt take long for the ball to get rolling and Mr. Carson to show up. He has to be one of the friendliest, down to earth, honest dentist I have ever met. He made sure I understood completely what was going on, what my options were, and how things were going to go down. Once the work started there was some immense pain that I had to suffer through while they prepared the tooth for a crown. The whole time my nerves and anxiety got the best of me and I was shaking like a dog whos afraid of rain haha! They didnt mind joking around and trying to relax me, they made sure I was comfortable and had a tissue ready for when they would hit a tender spot and the pain would start, and they both (Julianne and Carson) made sure I was 100% okay with everything happening through the entire process. As I go to leave Julianne walks me to the front and hands me a long-stemmed rose and told me I was a pleasure to work on, and she really hopes that over the next few days the soreness and pain goes away quickly and Ill be back to myself in no time. I wasnt expecting such friendliness and warmness from a dental office, but I was happily surprised and even more surprised to say I look forward to going back for a check-up/cleaning because I know I will see smiling, warm faces and not be scared at all.
