Ive been to several dentists in my time, and let me just say I am not a fan of getting dental work. I do not dread coming to see Dr. Hoffman and staff. They are very friendly and very professional. Their office is also very clean and you can tell they are organized. One of the first things I asked the first time I was there, was about a serrated edge I had on my top far right tooth. He immediately identified it as an unfinished filling my previous dentist had decided not to, well, finish. I might also add that my previous dentist was at one of the chain establishments. In addition, one of the benefits of his non-chain office is a much more personal experience, in my opinion. They had several appointments come in at the same time and the receptionist greeted each of them correctly by their respective names as soon as they walked in. I will certainly continue to come here as long as Im in the metro.

I am so thankful I switched!!! I had been seeing a different dentist in the area since I was a kid and for the last few years I was starting to get the feeling that it might be time to move on. SO THANKFUL I DID!! A family friend suggested Dr. Hoffman and I am so glad I followed through with her advice. I love everything about this clinic!! They have a friendly staff, flexible scheduling, a billing person who will sit down with you and explain your coverage and procedures, and Dr. Hoffman is so friendly, inviting, and comforting. You really get the feeling that all of them know what they are doing, love what they are doing, and it carries over through their work. They all make you feel at ease at the dentist office (which for most is hard to do). I feel like I am finally able to feel confident in my dental care now!

19 years of top notch service from Dr. Hoffman and awesome support staff-need I say more. I moved 70 miles away fifteen years ago but we still keep all our dental needs taken care of by Dr. Hoffman and assistants that I can call my friends. (One staff member, I have known since we were in the first grade!!!-many moons ago!) Most recently, his services were utilized to the nth degree. I have never been more thankful this season to have a dentist I can call on a weekend, meet with on his weekend and have the whole dental emergency of my 10 year old taken care of in less than a weeks time. My daughter was able to enjoy her turkey dinner as if nothing traumatic had happened to four of her permanent teeth. Thanks for helping our smiles in our teeth and in our hearts-You all are the best!!

I am the type of person who used to develop anxiety if I even thought about going to the Dentist. I’ve had some less than favorable experiences and because of this I stopped going to the dentist all together. Some time ago a friend convinced me to make an appointment with Dr. Hoffman and give him a chance. I am happy to report that today, many years later, I am still going to my semi-annual dental visits and they have all been anxiety free. Dr. Hoffman and his staff are great! They have always made me feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease when I come in for my visits. I am grateful to my friend for encouraging me to make that first appointment with Dr. Hoffman.

I guess our family now can say it has been decades since we began seeing Dr. Hoffman and staff. Because of the great care weve received over the years and how friendly everyone has been to me, my wife and three children, we feel Dr. Hoffman and crew practically are part of our family. I saw a wonderful dentist in northeast Portland for the first 30 years of my life prior to his retirement. The transition to Dr. Hoffman was seamless and I felt right at home immediately. We appreciate that he knows us and cares about what is going on in our lives outside his office. Looking forward to many more years here and no cavities!

Tony Hoffman and his staff are the best. Ive had many dentists over the years. I like Tonys conservative approach--dont fix it unless it needs fixing. Not all dentists are like that. Ive had him for more than 10 years now. His work sticks, not needing to be redone. His referrals are excellent and good value. I dont have insurance and he doesnt overcharge as other dentists Ive been to have done. The attention to detail of his hygienists is great and their advice is thoughtful and focused on improving my dental health. They are always ready for me on time. I never have to wait.

Ive had quite a few dentists over the years, but Dr. Hoffman is definitely THE best. He is not only gentle, but explains his procedures. As a patient, that is extremely reassuring to me so I know and understand the care that I am getting. His staff is top notch and always friendly and welcoming. If you are new to the area, or just looking for a local family dentist, I highly recomment Dr. Hoffmans office. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Hoffman is the only dentist I have seen since coming to Portland Or. in 1990. His professionalism and integrity are of the highest quality. I would highly recommend him and I would never consider going anywhere else! The staff are also a delight and very professional in every way. I have been going to Dr. Hoffman for several years and have complete confidence in both his abilities and his integrity. I went to him after another dentist decided I needed a root canal on a tooth that had no issues. Dr. Hoffman would never do that. His staff is all very personable and very professional and they all make an effort to be helpful and supportive. Hes my dentist for life.

I can not even believe it NO PAIN.I had to have two crowns one tooth had 4 cracks yikes! Dr Hoffman is so great I had schedule them two weeks apart and after the first one I changed the next appointment to the next day! I have always been a scaredy-cat before and I would have ANYTHING DONE HERE WITH DR HOFFMAN WITH NO FEAR!!!!
