We can’t say enough about the quality care and skill of the Bridgetown PT staff. Professional, experienced, knowledgeable and caring are just a few of the words we’d use to describe them. We’d also like to commend them on their community service efforts. Bridgetown PT has been supporting the Team BCT charity running and cycling teams for many seasons. All funds raised by the athletes support Banfield Charitable Trust’s mission of keeping pets and their people together. Theyve gone above and beyond making sure participants not only are physically ready for an endurance event but also get across the finish line safely. Our participants have come from all levels of athletic experience, most of them have never done an endurance race before, some have lingering prior injuries, and the experienced team members are looking to beat a time. Whatever their goals and needs might be, the Bridgetown team has been with them hand in hand to the finish line and beyond. Many of the participants continue on with Bridgetown post event for care or training. It goes without saying that if you’re looking for care with people that have a strong moral compass and do what’s right for the patient and their community, then look no further. We couldnt have been successful without them!

I originally started going to Bridgetown 3 years ago for knee and IT band issues I was having while running. Josh helped me strengthen underdeveloped muscles and taught me how to stretch properly to prevent future injuries. He examines whole body functioning to uncover the root cause of injuries. Once I was back to 100% (I haven’t had any knee or IT band issues since!) I continued seeing Josh at Bridgetown for Personal Training and joined their “Training Like the Pros” class. Josh helped me work on form, create a balanced workout and understand proper nutrition to make me a stronger runner and athlete. Bridgetown’s “Training Like the Pros” takes a workout class to the next level. The workouts include speed, agility, strength, power and quickness drills. This class provides an opportunity to participate in workouts which are similar to what professional athletes utilize when preparing for their sports. Josh also makes sure we are executing the exercises correctly with good form. They have a great facility and continue to bring in new equipment and new techniques. The entire staff at Bridgetown is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Bridgetown for both physical therapy and as a training studio.

I cannot recommend this place/their staff enough! I believe their success is due to a combination of knowledge and sincerity. A few years ago, I had an upper back pain that I just could not get to go away--I tried other PTs, varying my workout, but nothing helped. I went to Josh (based on his credentials listed online) and he developed a strength training workout for me that not only helped eliminate my back pain, but also added variety to my regular workout. Now, a few years later, Ive used Bridgetown for everything: their workout class, personal training, and more treatment sessions to deal with some knee pain. Every time I go, all the stresses that normally come with medical problems are alleviated. Each employee, from the PTs to each person working at the front desk are kind, sincere, and helpful. If youre not typically into exercise, and find gym atmospheres intimidating, Bridgetown does a fantastic job of providing an inclusive, safe atmosphere. If you love exercise, but want to avoid injury, they provide a place where you can gain knowledge and improve on your workout without hurting yourself. And, their location is easily accessible to many offices since its downtown, so thats also a bonus.

I have only been to 3 physical therapists in my life, but from that experience, I can say that the Physical Therapists at Bridgetown are wonderful! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and comprehensive. Previously, I went for PT elsewhere and received an handful of exercises to complete, but with Bridgetown, I received the exercises, but rather than just focusing on the single area of injury, the Therapist had me work surrounding areas too. I have worked with Josh, one of the owners. A friend, who is an Emergency Room Doctor and Chief of two hospitals, recommended him to me. This friend appreciated that Josh (one of the co-owners of Bridgetown) could speak clearly and knowledgeably about the human body mechanics/research/physical therapy. I have been similarly impressed. Josh explains how the muscles are connected and how this requires a more comprehensive treatment plan. He is happy to explain and teach me current research on physical therapy and training. I have returned to Bridgetown for several injuries, and I am always impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the team.

I highly recommend Josh and Bridgetown. The staff is great and the facility provides a comfortable, low key workout environment. I have been working with Josh as a personal trainer for the past 7 months and it has been a great experience. I liked the fact that Josh had a background in physical therapy as well as personal training. I felt that he would understand the capabilities of an out of shape, 60 year old that was 70 pounds overweight and that I could trust him to design a workout that would challenge, but not cause strain or injury. That trust has proven to be well founded. Josh truly listened to my goals and has tailored a program to specifically meet them. With his advice, encouragement, and program, I’ve lost 45 lbs. I have recently moved into Josh’s group exercise class “Training Like the Pros”, which provides a great workout and a good transition to a more independent program. Once I complete the weight loss, I look forward to working one-on-one with Josh to develop a strength program.

Great results and a fun atmosphere! I have been going to Josh at Bridgetown for about three years now due to a car accident injury. Every time I tweak my back or have a sports related injury I call Bridgetown and the wonderful receptionists always get me in. Josh has made me stronger and has prevented my injuries from happening as often as they did. I also take his class called, Training Like the Pros and it has really helped me with my overall fitness and it has become an evening I look forward to all week, great people!! Josh and the Bridgetown staff are very knowledgable and you will see results. I have been to a few other physical therapists before I found Josh and I saw the difference in his technique and skills after my first visit. I have told all my running and soccer friends how fabulous Bridgetown and their therapists are so I thought I would just write a review so everyone could know.

After being involved in a bad car accident over a year ago, my chiropractor recommended I see Josh at Bridgetown PT. The first day I started I could barely walk on a treadmill for five minutes without being in pain. Throughout my treatment Josh was very patient, creating personalized workout plans and answering the many questions I had. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is uplifting. Now that I am done with treatment, I am pain-free, in the best shape Ive been, and feel fantastic. Bridgetown PT has become such a positive influence in my life that I am now using everything I learned from Josh to train on my own. In addition, I am taking a class they offer called "Training Like the Pros" which is such a great full body workout. I highly recommend Bridgetown PT.
