I was referred to Dr. John a couple of years ago and I want to share my experience. I found out that he had interned with Dr. Beardall who may have been one of the most brilliant healers on the planet. This was 35 years ago when my health went completely down hill and in the 13 years before he was killed in a auto crash he put me back together again. Now I am 81 years old and to stay vibrant and healthy at this age I need lots of help and I have received so much from Dr. John; His treatments taught me how to have my brain work in harmony with my body and spirit. In the time I have been seeing him he has continually learned so much from the experts on the cutting edge of alternative medicine. It is priceless what I have learned. The whole alternative field is exploding with energy. I had a really bad fall and car accident and so was able to have such excellent care that my body works better than before. One of the blessings is that auto accidents allow you to choose the kind of treatment you want to experience and so you can chose to learn and receive the treatment that heals you body, brain and spirit instead of toxic drugs that mask the pain. I cannot stop talking about the improvement I have experienced by seeing Dr John these last 2 1/2 weeks. I feel very blessed to have been referred to him by my LMT. I had already been dealing with my issues for a couple weeks, seen by my MD & others with some success but Dr John took time to really look at all of the issues, ran a lot of different tests & basically stayed with it so that I left his office on day one feeling better than I did when I arrived. We have continued the recommended treatments & all issues are getting better daily. He has many tools in his tool box of care, very educated & knowledgeable and a great sense of humor to keep it oh so not serious. For the first time in years, I truly feel like this is a doctor that will help me to stay as healthy as possible. Thank you Dr John.

I have been suffering from very bad migraines since 17 years of age. The kind of migraines that I had felt like my head was going to explode literally! My primary care doctor advised me to take Tylenol and my mother told me that she was suffering from migraines and those stopped when she turned 50 years old. I started seeing Dr. Helton after car accident and when I mentioned about my awful migraines, he wanted to help. He adjusted the base of my head and I went home. Day after day I was waiting for my migraine, because I doubted that adjustment will help, but I was wrong. It has been almost a month and I am free from migraines! I will forever be grateful to Dr. John Helton. Also he has been treating my neck and back and I am doing great!

He is a fantastic doctor. Great sense of humor, compassionate, and understanding, and has an intuition about the body and health. Knows what will help your body and what does not, or else seeks to understand. If you need an adjustment or have neurology questions or medicine or diet, he is an excellent person to consult. Especially if you are skeptical of the prescriptive normative Western hegemony of the pharmaceutical companies with the health insurance companies and specialized doctors that treat based on short-term relief and chemicals, instead of on treatment, prevention, and natural medicines. His receptionist is wonderful too.

Dr. Helton is the most engaged, present physician I’ve ever visited; I cannot recommend him highly enough. His holistic, human being-centric approach to wellness puts you at ease immediately. There’s no wham-bam, $50 co-pay and out the door in 6 minutes mindset here. This man cares about you and your well-being, and he takes the time to understand the root causes that brought you into his office. Don’t think of him merely as a chiropractor, think of him as a healer. He has worked minor miracles with me in treating and completely eliminating my chronic vertigo (BPPV). I wish I had been under his care 25 years ago.
