I have personally never wrote any online reviews, but rather read other reviews for my own benefit. But my heart had so much desire to write this honest review and share my experiences with all of you. By the way, another review by Rob Scribner really bothers me. Sounds like a fraudulent review by a competitor going around different review sites leaving false reviews. Check this companys Facebook page. You will see many glorious reviews there. Also based on my research, they have been in the business for over 35 years. That alone says a lot, which equals many years of hands on experience in this field. I have many friends with dogs and cats and by far, Atglen Vet Hospitals prices are very reasonable, often lower than other competing hospitals in the area. It seems like in this day and age that everybody wants everything for free or close to nothing. Im a business owner myself selling products online. Businesses need to make a profit to stay in business. Please remember that. You often get exactly what you pay for these days. Atglen Vet Hospital deserves every penny they get from me. If you are shopping for a vet solely on price, please go somewhere else. You dont deserve to be under their care. Now to an actual review :) Out of all the doctors that I have met during my last 20+yrs (including doctors that care for humans - thanks to my mom), Dr. Ewing and his entire staff are truly the best. I visited this hospital for a second opinion on my sick dying puppy diagnosed with nocardia/actinomycosis bacterial infection, and Dr. Ewing has given our puppy a second chance at life(July 23,2012). He sat down with me and my mom and patiently explained everything about my little buddys illness and treatment options. He has shown us so much caring and compassion throughout all of our visits. As of Sept 1st 2012, Im very happy to report that my puppy is doing great and he is almost back 100% silly himself again. We want to thank Dr. Ewing as well as all of his superb staff members for treating us like a family in this difficult time with our 1st puppy. I truly believe Dr. Ewing is the best in the veterinary care industry. Thank you once again for everything that you do for us. We truly believe God sent you to us so Guinness could have a healthy, happy fulfilling life here on Earth. P.S. - If you have finished reading this review and done your homework, I certainly hope you give this hospital a chance to take care of your loved pet, even if you have to drive a long distance to get here. They are so worth it.

Being that Im Dr. Ewings son Im a bit biased - however, growing up with him my entire life - I was able to see the time, effort, and care that he puts into helping everyones animals. Watching him when I was a young boy starting his practice in our house - getting to help rub newborn puppies - to seeing his practice grow, flourish and expand has been an incredible thing to experience. He has had largely the same staff for the last 20 years and I think this speaks to the kind, caring, family atmosphere that youll find there (what else could you ask for??). My dad has surrounded himself with people that are like-minded and theyll care for your animal as if it was their own. Rest assured that you wont find a better vet in the area...

I am a large animal veterinarian, and I take my dogs to Dr Chip Ewing, as do some of my other veterinary friends. Dr Ewing is a great veterinarian, and runs a friendly first class hospital. The quality of medicine is the absolute best, and the staff truely care for your animals well being. I have been going to Atglen for almost 20 years.

Ive been taking my cats to Atlgen Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years and the staff have always been very friendly and professional. I feel the prices are reasonable (less than I was paying at the previous vet) and the compassion they showed when I had to have my cat euthanized two weeks ago helped me through a difficult time.

We took my cat here almost a year ago ,did not tell us how much meds or surgery would cost ,didnt care that she was going to die all they cared about was if they were gonna get paid,,my cat of 8 yrs my best friend and my fuzzy daughter ,died,soo heart broken a year later,please find a new vet if your fuzzy child is sick,
