So about a year ago, a new vet (Dr. Rouse) purchased the practice and took over this place, and its been seriously amazing since then. I have 4 small dogs and a cat, and they all go to her now, even though shes a bit of a trip from where I currently live. Shes amazingly knowledgeable, and really takes her time with both me and my pets, making sure were comfortable and that I understand everything thats going on. Thats surprisingly different from other vets Ive used in the past, who make me feel rushed, and run out of the room the second the exam is done. The vet techs that work there are also incredibly knowledgeable and really go out of their way to make both pets and owners happy. Shes seriously amazing, and is willing to work with pets and their owners to make sure youre happy and that you have the best possible outcome. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Rouse and her new practice.

Terrible vet, the worst. She almost killed my puppy.He had a routine surgery with Dr. Rouse. He literally would have died owing to this botched surgery if I had not sent him to an emergency hospital to resew the sutures that came undone. The day we took him home from surgery, you could see that the sutures were not right, and he was oozing a great deal from them. Yet when It took him back she declined to fix the job, requiring me to take him somewhere else for a lengthy hospital stay and new surgery. The hospital told me he would have been dead within 12 hours if I did not take him there. She never took any responsibility for this botched job, and tried to blame me for her poor medical care. If you love your pet, this is not the place to go!

Awful. There is no way I would ever recommend this vet to anyone who actually cares about their animal. I had to take my dog here in an emergency because I wasnt sure he would make it to my preferred Veterinary. The vet was very cold and not exactly friendly to my dog, he did an awful job hiding how much he didnt feel like seeing us and rushed through seeing him. He COMPLETELY misdiagnosed him and practically brushed us off, charging $150 for not even a five minute visit (no labs, shots nor x-rays either!). VERY displeased, I ended up taking him to his normal vet anyway right after leaving there where they took excellent care of him and informed us of the HUGE misdiagnosis as well as two other things that were missed.

We were so happy to discover this practice right down the road from our new house in Havertown. Weve been taking our 8-year-old mutt to Dr. Rouse for about two years now, and have been extremely pleased with the quality of care and service. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful, they have a great email reminder system set up which helps keep on top of appointments, prescription refills, etc. Would highly recommend them!

Dr. Rouse is the kindest, calmest person. She never makes us feel rushed and takes the time to answer all of our questions in depth. She is a very competent veterinarian and also very loving toward Milo. The people in the office have always been very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend her!
