I would not give any stars to Alpha vet they killed mine 9 1/2 year old Rottweiler I brought him in because he was weak and I wanted him examined and treated they refused to treat him did not even examined him I was crying for three hours straight pleading and begging them to examine him entry they refused they kept telling me he needed to be put down one month ago they told me he had spleen cancer and that he was bleeding internally and that he could die overnight they told me he needed surgery they are going to schedule surgery for the following week I told them here you tell me my dog can died overnight and youre scheduling surgery for the following week no youre going to do surgery today they collected $800 for the surgery one month later I brought him in they had to carry him in the vet because he was weak and he weighs 130 pounds they kept telling me he must be euthanized I refused because they didnt even examine him they refused to examine him and check him out for three hours I pleaded with them I hate Dr. Frey if she is worthy to be called Dr. The staff is cruel and unfriendly and so are the doctors they dont care for peoples furry friends hey just care about the money they dont care how many hearts they break I know they didnt care about my heart didnt care about my feelings they didnt care about the welfare and health of my dog it aint over frey IM WAITING FOR FOR YOU ALL TO GO DOWN I HATE YOU to go down hate you with a passion ALL WITH A PASSION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they euthanized my Rocky after throwing me out of the vet they wouldnt even give me my dog and they wouldnt let me back in I was so exhausted there were no signatures authorizing them to euthanize my buddy :( after this was over I went back like a week later to pick up his ashes, i wanted his records and they wouldnt give them to me under Rocky but only under my new puppies names which I will never go back to this place with even a tiny bug they SUCK as vets they gave me different ultra sound pics of another dog not mine at the time of the surgery as matter fact three different pics at three different times I now knew for sure something is wrong but its too late they had already did what they did to my Rocky!!!! I hate you Frey put that in a pipe and smoke it!!!!! I hate you and all alpha vet my dog hates you too your day will come KARMA!!!!!!! there is no forgiveness not for you any way!!!!!!!

Usually I would give this vet a 4 or 5 star rating but today Im giving them a 1. My dog has been uncontrollably throwing up and he cant keep anything down. I made an appointment for the vet and saw Bruce Frey ( the owner). Everything seemed to start off well and everything was going pretty decent until it was time to administer medicine. He prescribed 3 shots and medicine, he said 2 of the shots wouldnt hurt but the 3rd one will sting. He administers one shot and then throws the needle across the room. As he administers the second shot my dog yelped and the needle popped out of him. Frey decided to go get another needle to try and stick him again. Frey takes the other medicine that does not sting and administers that to my dog with little issues. For a second attempt Frey takes the new needle of the stinging medicine and pricks the dog again and the dog yelps and the needle falls to the floor and Frye begins to get frustrated. He goes and gets another needle and tries to stick him again. This time he forcefully grabbed my dogs neck and started pushing his throat into my leg. I began to say " whoa dont do that I have him." He did not listen and stuck the dog anyway. The needle broke again, medicine went flying everywhere and into my mouth. Frey went back for a 4th needle visibly upset and frustrated. I told him he wasnt sticking my dog again that another doctor needs to do it. He proceeded to tell me he should of taken the dog in the back, and the reason for the shots, and also he kept apologizing during his explanations. Frye left the room and went to get medicine for my dog, he came back I grabbed the medicine listened to the explanation on how to administer them and went to checkout. I was told the charges were 210 dollars. For what I went through I dont believe I should of been charged that much. The receptionist went back to talk to Frey, his response was thats the charges for the visit I can take the medicine if I want. The receptionist said hes the owner theres not much I can do. So basically since youre the owner of an establishment you can do whatever you want whenever you want. By the time I got home my dog is worse then when he went into the vet, the vomiting had gotten worse and he is more lethargic. Time to change vets!

My cat has a urinary issue that has been very confusing to try and figure out. After several visits to another vet, much confusion, and no answers, I went to Alpha Vet on the recommendation of my friend. I went twice for the same issue. The first time I saw Sandra Frey. She is great. She was extremely patient, addressed all my questions (and believe me there was a lot), and I could tell she was really trying to figure out the issue. I was probably in the office with her for an entire hour. I was extremely satisfied compared to other vets. I was also pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices at the end of the visit. Although there was no cure all for my cat, she definitely helped me understand his problem more. I went a second time for the same issue (I tend to freak out really bad when my cat has an episode) and I saw Bruce Frey. It was the last appointment of the day I believe and if I remember correctly it was Friday or Saturday so I could tell the staff and the doctor started to get antsy once my questions would not stop. However Dr. Frey was also very thorough and interested like his wife. He gave my cat a urine test and was also kind enough to do an ultrasound of his entire body on site and explained everything to me. I really appreciated this. I got some answers that day after seeing small bits of crystals in my cats bladder and kidneys, though I still have no real solution (I dont think I ever will.) After that appointment, the price for the ultrasound was VERY reasonable for his entire body if I remember correctly, and my last vet told me it was going to be approximately 3-4x more for just an ultrasound of his bladder and kidneys. I was so very thankful for Dr. Freys kindness, extreme patience, and thoroughness. I would ABSOULTELY recommend either of the Freys to people!! I have not seen the other vets in the office, however. The vet office is usually quite busy (can be pretty long waits) and in my personal opinion the counter staff is some what rude, but these doctors are worth it. As a matter of fact, at most vet offices I have been to counter staff has been slightly rude so maybe its just the nature of their job and dealing with people and unruly pets all day.
