****RUN! DONT BRING YOUR LOVING PET TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE! The worst experience in HISTORY. I took my 5month old puppy to this location. FYI: All BluePearl Veterinary are corporate owned. My puppy vomited a a couple round worms. I was going to wait and take him to his vet the next day but he wouldnt stop vomiting. I didnt want him to go into dehydration and so I decided to take my puppy to BluePearl. Never been there before. I told the doctor exactly what was going on. The doctor NEVER asked me about the worms in my puppies vomit. Never asked me about worms at all. The doctor started rubbing my puppies ears and looking at me. Telling me, "Oh, I think we have a lot more going on." She kept bringing up that my dog might have Parvo (even though he had a shot for Parvo). The doctor kept on and on about Parvo..never about worms. So...I decided to get the Parvo test because the doctor was freaking me out and making me nervous. The only symptom my puppy was having was vomiting a few worms. No blood..no nothing. Guess what...Parvo test came back negative.... imagine that. My puppy was due for another Parvo shot and the doctor knew about it but NEVER offered me treatment. NEXT--The doctor said he probably has a blockage? HUH? I said, "he has worms. Can we just please get the dewormer and fluids?" The doctor told me, "NO". Doctor told me before she would give me dewormer, I need to have X-Rays to make sure he doesnt have a blockage. I wasnt happy about agreeing to the X-Rays. After the X-Rays the doctor comes into the room and says, "there is something in his stomach." I said, "HMMMM do you think its worms?" Doctor said, "I dont know the X-rays dont show you whats in his stomach." I said, "Well does he have a blockage or not?" Doctor never started the conversation off by saying "Great news....No blockage." I had to ask. The X-Rays were so important and would explain everything. It only explained ---HE HAD NO BLOCKAGE! They did blood work as well. I have no idea what the results are on the blood work. I didnt realize that until the ride home the doctor never went over the blood results. Maybe because she was too busy trying to keep my dog over night in case he needed surgery or more X-Rays. HUH??? STILL never addressed the worm issue. The doctor danced around the worm issue and ignored us completely. She gave me 1 dose of dewormer at check-out to take home. Thats right...for me to do myself at home. Not at the hospital. He needed 3 doses but I only got 1. I didnt know that until I got home. When we were discharging the doctor and staff kept saying, "OH NO, there is something else going on with your puppy. Its not worms." (Repeating) GUESS WHAT BLUEPEARL? I took my puppy to his vet and he has worms. Imagine that. My puppy is doing great and nothing else was wrong. Thanks for listening to me BLUEPEARL. ******Here is the kicker***** Because we knew we were being scammed and our emotions being played with they got mad and called animal control on me the next day. What kind of Veterinary place would make up some BS like that? I was already upset from the BS treatment the night before and when I arrived home from my puppies vet, there was a notice on my door. I spoke with the Animal Control Officer and she gave me details of the complaint. "Dog vomiting and owner will not take to the vet." BluePearl are the only people that knew my address and that my dog was vomiting. You guys are really stupid. False reporting. I called to speak with Dana the manager at BluePearl and its been over 24hrs of waiting still hasnt returned my call. Imagine that. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET---DONT BRING THEM HERE. My BFF brought her cat there and she had an horrible experience. I didnt know that until after the fact. Her cat didnt make it for some reason. I cant wait to see the police report Im getting a copy of.

Let me start off by saying yalls desk employees are so great & understanding. I was a blubbering mess when I brought my baby Jasper in. He was vomiting blood & tiny pieces of what looked like plastic, swaying back & forth, couldnt keep his balance & was trembling like a leaf. I explained his symptoms to the desk girls, they wrapped him in a towel for me & we were in the back within 45 minutes. Now heres where I get a little upset with the doctor who treated my puppy. She insisted to me many times that she had seen this before & was sure he had eaten some marijuana. This was after she made a comment about the grateful dead 13 point bolt charm on my dogs collar & after she asked me where I worked (which is a localhead shop). So under the assumption that because of my job title that I smoke marijuana she wouldnt hear anything else. Funny part about all of it is, if I thought hed eaten my stash I sure the hell wouldnt have taken him to the vet. & the even funnier part about it is, I dont smoke marijuana. I use completely legal cbd products, which I give to my dog to combat his car anxiety anyways. I reassured her there was nooo way he couldve gotten into anything like that, & she completely disregarded me & informed me to call animal poison control which I did & got charged a $65 fee for them to tell me I mustve fed my dog marijuana, again. At this point Im just disgusted & frustrated & tell them to just help him whatever they have to treat him for just do it. I ended up having to leave him over night which broke my heart even more. In the end he is alive & well, just really worn out from being forced to throw up a few times. But they took good care of him. When I went to pick him up even more sweet desk ladies. But the best part is, on his diagnoses sheet it states "suspected marijuana intoxication" like are you kidding me? Really though? Then under the part about his blood work it stated his blood came back normal, nothing out of the ordinary or toxic like marijuana. Ill probably never bring my baby back here again, he was treated well but I was accused of being an idiotic pet parent & allowing my year old puppy to eat marijuana. Yall need to rethink the way you handle customers. Especially when theyre as upset as I was. & BTW, if there was even any way he couldve eaten some weed, I surely wouldnt have footed a $900 bill for yall to induce vomiting. I wouldve let him sleep it off & eat as much food as he wanted. Which wouldve been much cheaper.

I promise it takes a lot for me to complain about something. I am usually very easy going and I try my best to be mindful of the situation that is presented. We were referred by our local vet to the Greenbrier location and drove an hour and a half on a Friday evening from North Carolina due to our sweet pup experiencing Acute Liver Failure. Anyone who is taking their baby to the emergency vet is naturally overcome with so many emotions. BEDSIDE MANNER is CRUCIAL during this time! Having had previous experience with Dr. Feiste (she saw my moms dog, charged her over $3,000 and the dog passed away 2 days later), I was less than happy when I saw her face walk through the door. Her bedside manner leaves much to be desired and without running ANY tests on my dog, I was presented with an estimate of $2500-$3600. I wanted to scream "my dog is in liver failure, hook him up to an IV and we will worry about all the other diagnostics LATER". At this point she was trying to get us to do numerous amounts of testing with an initial diagnosis of Pancreatitis. Having knowledge in the medical field, I requested that she run an IN HOUSE SNAP test to rule that out before running ALL the other tests she wanted to run. After that she didnt step back into the exam room. Not even once. Her tech referred us to the Town Center location and Dr. Feiste herself couldnt even come in to tell us WHY they were sending us to ANOTHER Emergency vet at 11pm. We were exhausted, tired, scared, and worried. I work in a field where bedside manner is EVERYTHING. I know how crucial it can be to show kindness when someone is at their worst. I wholeheartedly understand that she deals with critical conditions everyday, but perhaps the emergency field is not for her. Our overall experience with her was the WORST. If you need an Emergency Veterinarian, avoid Dr. Feiste at all costs. She broke our spirits and left us feeling deflated. We are so happy to have our pup back at our local vet with Drs. who CARE about their patients. Kindness is key and it can go a long way. <3 UPDATE: After talking to their concerns manager, Jennifer, we feel like the veterinarian is giving the facility a bad name. The staff seemed genuinely concerned about this review and that makes my heart happy to know they care about the quality of their services.
