I will never take my animals to another facility. I had to put our family pet dog Ashley of 13 years down this past Saturday. Expecting the worse as in the past I cannot say enough positive things about the entire process. The room the staff caringly imediately took me too was comfortable with a big soft green bed for Ashley to lay on during the process. Dr. Duple explained everything to me and said all the right words including the "gift" we were giving Ashley because since she was a dog she couldnt make this decision herself. As painful as this entire process is, I have to say that my description of having it done at Landisville Animal Hospital was one of the most peaceful experiences I have ever had. I held Ashley as she passed and I know we did the right thing. When leaving I went to the desk to pay as you would at any other vet or animal hospital and the staff was so sweet they just ushered me out the door and said they would bill me. This even meant alot to me. That they cared enough for me to have my time to myself rather than standing at a counter paying for the process. Thank you Landisville Animal Hospital, I cannot say enough.

I will never take any animal there even if they were the last vet on Earth. They told me my beloved Golden Retriever had arthritis in her knee joints and wrote Cancer on her chart. They prescribed expensive medications and she kept getting worse. They told me to continue to exercise her to keep her weight down regardless of the fact that her front legs were becoming useless. I continued to see hoping she would get better and finally at my last visit the vet said "Oh I see here on her chart it says she has Cancer." What she has Cancer why did you tell me she had arthritis I was crushed I trusted them and due to their negligence my baby suffered. By the time I sought out treatment from another vet it was too late and I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my life which was to put her to sleep. My Bailey was only 9 1/2 years old and she suffered needlessly for the last 6 months of her life because I trusted them. They do not deserve the title of veterinarians.

Friend of a Friend Pet Care and House Sitting

I have been using Landisville Animal Hospital since the office opened. On every visit I have been happy with the service I have gotten. I have read other reviews of the cost; this vet office is no more expensive or inexpensive than the next. Yes, the costs are high, but no more so than caring for a human friend. I have had the unfortunate need for end-of-life care for a couple of my buddies. The care and understanding at Landisville Animal Hospital during that process was gentle and carried out in the kindest way possible.

We had been looking for a new vet for quite sometime since our vet was extremely expensive and often times pushy and judgmental. When we adopted a new puppy from the Lancaster SPCA, she came with a coupon from LAH for a free first exam. We thought we would try them out. We were absolutely pleased. The office staff and the doctors we have seen are wonderful. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because they are rather pricey. Regardless, I have already recommended them to friends and colleagues.

Weve used this veterinarian for years. They were wonderful with our last cat "Daisy" and they were a partner in keeping her healthy. She lived to be 14 years old. When the time came to end her suffering, they were very helpful with the process and helped with our grieving. We recently rescued a new feline companion "Jordan" and they are and will continue to be our care provider of choice! Excellent. Yesterday, my family and I had to put down our beloved Mugsy, a 10yr old Beagle suffering from cancer. The staff and their facility was excellent. They had a special room set aside for this difficult process, which made our dog feel as if he were at home. I can only imagine how much more difficult it would have been if he were on a cold hard steel table instead of the warm doggie bed they had for him. If I ever own another animal I will take them to this animal hospital.

Ive had animal companions for years, on both coasts. No vet practice has ever come close to the compassionate care Ive experienced at the Landisville Animal Hospital. This is particularly the case when Ive had to make the hard choice of letting a suffering animal go from this life. From the special room set aside for this purpose to the amount of time the doctor spent with us, there isnt a place Id rather be at such a difficult time.

What a wonderful place to take your animals. If you want a caring staff, go here. We take our 3 cats to landisville animal hospital and the staff take such good care of them. I travel over an hour to take my dog Here. That speaks of their quality of work in my opinion. They have taken great care of all the animals my family has ever brought in. I will use them the rest of my life as they have my respect and my trust.

great doctors, but suck the money out of you. everything there is very expensive. also, there is one older lady, a receptionist, that is very rude. god forbid if you dont have the money at the time of service and want to make payments.

Ive been taking my kitties here since this establishment opened more than 20 years ago. Super pleasant staff. Caring and kind vet techs. The vets are thorough in there explanations and follow up.

My Cookie cat was sick an in pain. Poor Dx for my cat possible cancer. We put her down. Vet Tech returned with her paw print plus some hair. Very comforting place. RIP COOKIE RODENT
