I wish I was a dog so they could be MY doctor and doctors office. My dog loves all the people there, and pulls me into the building to get inside. No joke, he tugs all the way like he is chasing a rabbit. Whether we are seeing his regular doctor or another when ours is on vacation, all of them give consistent and complimentary advice, commentary, directions, and prescriptions. We have never had a mis-diagnosis, and every dime we have spent there has been worth it; every transaction is truly value added! We have been going there for six years, and I recall only one time when there was not a sense of calm in the waiting room, and only then because there was a dog emergency so things were a bit crowded and there were some stress creators. Normally everything is very well scheduled, no waiting room crowds, and only if there is an emergency being facilitated do things back up to the point where I as a punter notice. You have to be pretty cold hearted or infirm of mind to get cranky about not getting your dogs ears looked at when you doctor is delayed because another dog got hit by a car after its owner left their front door propped open while buying girl scout cookies. Even late in the day there is not a compounding of cumulative delays and your scheduled time is indeed your go time. Generally we have only at most ever been kept waiting by however much time we were early, but typically we are admitted early and leave even quicker. Awesome! Another great thing is that THEY CALL YOU BACK. Test & Lab Results, messages, appointment reminders, all are prompt. They have also added eMail reminders for individual appointments, and have quarterly and yearly care eMail reminders for key treatments; even so far as projecting the next restock date when you will consume flea/tick or heartworm treatments by. But wait, theres MORE! The DOCTOR will call you back even on their busiest day, even if you are playing phone tag with them from 10AM onward and repeatedly miss each others calls, they call even at 6, 7 or at EIGHT at night even AFTER THEY ARE CLOSED to connect with you, no matter how trivial the issue is. They want to make sure that both you and your pet are doing as well as possible at all times. I have only viewed Donegal Animal Hospital through the lens of caring for our dog, but I instictively know that every person employed in their office gives their all every day, and cares about every animal that comes through their doors as much as the pet owner and likely more than some of the disenfranchised pet keepers or co-owners out there. I have it on good authority that other DVMs in the area are more prone to a laisseiz-faire attitude and can be more profit centric, and we had a lemon of a DVM before switching to Donegal Animal Hospital also. In fact, out of all our dog eats, consumes, is treated with or administered there are only two things appreciably lower cost online than what they have in-house (once you factor in shipping): Special shampoo, and Fish Oil. Everything else, including his food, and flea and heartworm treatments, they sell at fair market value. There is nothing to not like!!! The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained, no funny smells that I have ever noticed, and I think they have all taken courses to un-learn frowning because all anyone that works there does is smile or listen to what you are saying intently. It is an admirable veterinary practice that they run, and you should go there too. You too will be inspired to write a long and detailed review praising them if you get established with them as the primary care provider for your pet. **** Mic Drop **** .

Donegal sets the standard for excellence in every way! The entire staff is attentive and thoroughly trained. The atmosphere is calm and clean. I never feel hurried or unimportant. Dr. Albright is the most exceptional veterinarian (in the world) and I say this after 25 years and many dogs & cats who are like children to me. She is highly esteemed by her peers. Dr. Albright is gifted with a wealth of knowledge which is only surpassed by a tenderness of heart. Donegals staff and veterinarians call you and encourage you to keep in touch with them concerning the status of your pet. They make the effort! I am so thankful for the care that my beloved pets receive. If you want personalized care from an established group of highly educated veterinarians...Donegal should be your choice.

This review is for both the practice and the staff. Wonderful practice, wonderful staff - every one of them. Dr. Albright is always so patient and willing to take her time and answer questions and explain issues and procedures. When my Tim, who was battling cancer, went into crisis it was a Sunday so I had to go to Pet Emergency - and I cant express the relief when I found that Dr. Dill was on call there that Sunday! It was the day I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, and it was so good to have someone familiar and compassionate there, who knew my Tim and gave me all the time I needed to spend with him before he crossed Rainbow Bridge.

A fantastic visit! Donegal Animal Hospital was highly recommended by a friend. Not only was it welcoming, but clean. Dr. Albright was a peach! She was gentle and thorough with our cat, Sunflower. She showed care, compassion, and professionalism. We also didnt feel rushed. How many places would let you look at a slide under their microscope to see what yeast looks like that was in your animals ear! The staff was also courteous and friendly! Im so relieved that this will more likely be our new vet office. Thank you all.

We actually live about 30-35 minutes away now but we make the trip to Donegal instead of finding somewhere in York. We love the vets and all of the employees. We know our dog can be a handful and we always appreciate how accommodating their office is to her anxiety and reactivity! Their prices are very reasonable and we have never left feeling like they didnt take the time to listen to our questions. The vets are always very thorough and so great with our crazy pup.

All of the staff members at Donegal Animal Hospital are great. Theyre so friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I also always appreciate how easy it is to set up an appointment and how they usually always have an appointment available the same day that I call. My cat has had UTIs lately, and they have been so accommodating with scheduling and promptly seeing her. Im very happy with Donegal Animal Hospital!

Dr. Dill was wonderful with Georgia amd very personable throughout Georgias exam. We usually see Dr. McGrath but Dr. Dill was just as fantastic as Dr. McGrath. You have an excellent practice! What a gem Donegal Animal Hospital is!!! We tell all of our friends. In fact one of my best friends just switched to DAH after having a bad experience with her former vet. Keep up the good work loving on our beloved pets!!

Donegal animal hospital is a great place to go knowing that your pets are treated like family. I have been a big fan of Dr. Mcgraths practice for years and recommend him to all my family and friends, for anything from yearly exam to surgical procedures. Not only does Dr. Mcgrath a great veterinarian but also his other fellow veterinarians at his hospital.... I have had appointments with them all!
