I had an appointment 1-07-2016. I got a phone call confirming my appointment the day prior. When I went inside 10 minutes earlier the day of my appointment I was told my insurance was inactive. I asked the mexican woman at the front desk are you sure? She said yes, I then attempted to give her my card and as her to check again because I hadnt been there in over 2 years. She looked at me as if I was speaking a alien language. I than went outside to call my insurance carrier to find out what the problem was. I was told my insurance was active and good to go. I went back inside while on the phone with my insurance carrier. Informed her of what his was telling me, I ask her to talk to the representative on the phone, she still sits there with the blank stare. Omfg lady are you serious? Im thinking to myself. I than see another woman a black woman, and ask her for assistance I inform her of the situation. She takes my insurance card and 15 minutes later she calls me back to be seen. This was was incompetent I guess shes there because she speaks spanish. I will never go there again.

Plan on waiting even with an appointment but the staff is nice and its cheaper than using my insurance at my regular obg/yn and they do whats right for you not what makes them more money.

I had to get a proof of pregnancy about 6 months ago. I had no problems with any of the staff and I wasnt made to feel terrible because I didnt have insurance (at the time).

The doctors and nurses are very kind and helpful. However, this center is HORRIBLY managed. Just goes to show how underfunded and understaffed PP is.
