I brought my 8 week old puppy here to get her first shots. I was skeptical at first because it was a small building and kind of remind of a campground bathroom (I dont know why, lol, but it just does. The smell is just a lot of different cleaning products trying to cover some other smell (not that theyre trying to, its just the only way I could describe it)). I walked into the waiting room and was greeted with a smile from the receptionist. There were three other people in the waiting room and two of them were incredibly sweet and talked with me. It wasnt a long wait at all before were called in and the two vets that were waiting instantly melted and was making sure my pups first visit wasnt a scary one. They gave her a little giraffe toy to play with and tons of treats. Once she was finished with all of her vaccines, we were talking to the vets about how we love to buy her things, but sometimes PetCo/PetSmart can be pricey. They gave us a catalog that they order from and let us have it since they had 2 of the same. They played with her for a little bit while we talked and it was great because they make you feel like youve known them for years. Ontop of the catalog they also gave us a "puppy" packet for free that came with a Merial ID # tag that says "If you found me go to this website" (basically, you go onto the Merial website and set up information under the ID # you received so if someone ever finds your dog, they can log on to the site and match up the ID # to get your info). It also included a packet of Frontline Flea & Tick and a Heartguard chewable. They provided us with so much help and then some!! INCREDIBLE people. They treat you like family. I definitely would recommend them.

Stay far far away from this so called animal hospital! I brought my dog in for a limp on her legs she was diagnosed with Lymes disease! The Doctor never examined her....They didnt even take her temperature..... and never gave me a follow-up call to see how she was doing !!!!! All they gave me was 28 days of antibiotics and shove me out the door! I called today and asked what to do next regarding follow up for my dogs pain from Lyme disease, Receptionist told me to stop by and speak to someone, when I got there I was treated like a street bum.. I said my dog is in pain and is now limping on her legs due to the lyme disease and can you do anything for her? I asked her could you please give her an anti-inflammatory for her pain? Her answer was no we cant give your dog anything unless you bring her back next week for another exam! I asked them why they never gave a follow-up call never took her temperature! Their excuse was they see too many animals diagnosed with Lymes disease and they dont have time to follow up on the cases.... this is unheard of this place should be put out of business. Do yourself a favor and drive the distance to go to a real veterinarian in a real animal hospital,this place will do nothing for you except take your money!

The care provided by the doctors, technicians and front office staff are by far the best I have ever experienced. Dr. Andrea Ster sets the bar high for what a vet should be. Her love and compassion for both the animals and their owners exceeds anything I have ever experienced in veterinary care. We had an Akita with multiple issues and I truly believe with her assistance he lived much longer than anyone had ever expected he would. I wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else!

We love this place. We have a whole clowder of cats and have experienced them having chronic constipation, IBS, hepatic lipodosis, and more. We have been to other vets in the area and even Ocean State and we are the most comfortable taking our kitties here. We trust all of the techs and the vets. Everyone is caring, knowledgable, and genuine. We first came here because they were in the newspaper as being "cat whisperers" and they truly are.

I lost my cat to salivary gland cancer,which would have been easily treatable if not so badly misdiagnosed by one of the senior vets at this practice. Constant changing of staff makes it impossible to create a relationship with any competent and caring vets who join then leave the practice. High overhead results in very high prices and visits that need to be kept very short. I strongly recommend that you find another vet in the area.

These folks truly love all the little critters that have to come see them. And oddly enough even my anti-social critters like them too. Our cat, aptly named tweek, seemed to trust them as much as he trusts my wife and I. And he doesnt trust ANYBODY! Pricing is reasonable too. As reasonable as a vet can get anyway. Bottom line is that the docs and techs treated both my cats as if they were their own.

Dr Jeff is a great vet. He and his staff always provide our pets with the care and attention they need. Sometimes theres a wait if they have emergencies or run long with other patients, but that comes with the territory (and I know they wont cut short their time with my pets). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Super Friendly Staff over at NRIAH, I have brought my cat, Shadow here for her shots and Have dealt with Jeff and a couple of the Other Doctors they have been fast, professional and the price was just right.
