Barney my "black dog" just had his annual checkup at VCA and we couldnt be happier. His Vet was thorough and informative. I found out about the tartar developing on his back teeth, and what we could do about it. Other than that he got a clean bill of health. I felt informed, and Im able to develop a plan with his vet for his dental care in the future. Most importantly, Barney wasnt stressed. No dog is excited about getting poked and prodded, but he likes his vet and vet tech. Were both very happy with VCA people, and I think the people are the key ingredient here. Apparently they think Barney is. Thanks VCA heres to another healthy year!

DO NOT GO HERE.... they are a HUGH rip off......THEY CHARGED ME $ 550.00 for inducing my 16 lb dog to vomit up a tiny amount of dark chocolate along with her breakfast and they insisted on putting her on fluids for three hours ,,......I will never go there again . pushed me into to spending a total of $ 550...for inducing vomiting and admin. fluids for 3 hours......,,,,knowing now all I had to do was induce the her to vomit myself... THEY ARE ....A HUGH RIP OFF....they pray on ones fears............Please beware of them all there..

As a human father to my canine and feline companions I have had occasion to place them in the hands and care of the capable Doctors and staff of the Gilford and Laconia facilities. From the outset years ago I have been treated with the utmost respect, my companions have been treated medically and professionally as if they belonged to those caring for them. Best place in the area! There are places that you will pay less, but you also get what you pay for. I tried another local vet who was "cheaper" and he was HORRIBLE
