I dont think I adequately express how pleased I am with Russell Animal Hospital--but Ill try! Before becoming a client, I scheduled a time to meet with one of the doctors so I could ask questions and observe the office. I had recently moved from California and had started with another practice, but it wasnt a good fit at all. I didnt want that to happen again. I met with Dr. Kelly Heitz who was very nice, down to earth and answered all of my questions. Ive seen every doctor at the practice and they are all great. One of my dogs had cancer and went for treatment in Massachusetts. Russell Animal Hospital was amazing during the entire process. I felt like they were going through it with me. One day recently I went in with one of my dogs. (I love that I can call and they are staffed with enough doctors, they can almost always get me in the same day) I met with one of the doctors who I hadnt seen in probably a year. She actually gave me details about my dog before looking at his chart. I was surprised that she knew anything. She said that they do morning meetings so they are familiar with the animals who are part of their practice. I was so impressed. And, the office staff and technicians are just wonderful. Friendly, helpful and professional. Also, they always call the day after a visit to see how the pet is doing if there are in for a bigger visit like shots. And, they are not the type of practice to bring animals in for testing or unnecessary visits. Their pricing is fair, I think they are worth every penny. They ALWAYS call me back if I place a call and need to speak with one of the doctors. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

I do not recommend this place at all. We are changing vets because each time my boyfriend and I leave here, we feel terrible. The ladies at the desk are great, friendly and caring, but the two female doctors we had experiences with were horrible. They were condescending and rude and spoke down to us as if we were children. One doctor tried to jump down our throats and say that our puppy is illegal because I simply didnt have the flight information/ paperwork on me at the time. On the second occasion, the vet allowed the technician to get bit and informed us that this was "something we needed to work on." The puppy was 11 weeks old so I have no idea how they allowed themselves to get bit when it is their job to put a dog in a safety hold while giving injections. We are friendly, caring people and just can not get over how terrible we felt after these appointments. We are changing vets and I would like to warn others that this could happen to them.

Weve been taking our cats to Russell Animal Hospital for about 40 years. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians are excellent. Our calls are always answered promptly. Recently, another of our cats was diagnosed with a condition requiring prescriptions. The attending vet called us with instructions after our appointment and then followed up several times to see how things were going. There are not enough stars to reflect how highly I recommend Russell. I would give it 10 or 100 or 1,000,000 stars if it were possible. We even receive sympathy cards when a pet passes away.

I have used Russell Animal Hospital for all my veterinary needs since 1988. They have cared for my numerous dogs from puppyhood into adulthood through the senior years until end of life care, with knowledge, skill, and compassion. In the process they have educated me and I am a better pet owner because of them. Every member of the staff from receptionists to technicians to the doctors is friendly and kind. Each one is willing to go out of their way to help make each visit a positive experience. I have often thanked them privately and now am pleased to be able to do so publicly.

What a great place. The doctors are very knowledgable and the place is very professional. They helped me with my sick dog and he lived longer than expected. I take my other dogs there and I am very happy with their service. They answered all questions I had no matter how silly they might have seemed. They always follow up with your visit with a phone call. I would highly recommend this place. I never had any issues with them. They are always friendly and courteous.

Russell animal hospital is our favorite vet! We have gone there for years and lived in the Concord area. We moved to Springfield, NH and still use them...we cant seem to part with them. We like to use Dr. Paine as he has seen our dogs since puppy hood. However every doctor, technician and receptionist has been delightful in helpful to us in every way possible. I would highly recommend them for any need you may have.

Russell Animal Hospital is the best! The facility is clean and bright and a happy place and it shows in our dog when we pick him up. We moved away from the Concord area and are delighted to discover that we can board Zeppy there when we return for visits. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. We have nothing but positive things to say about Russell Animal Hospital.

The vets and staff at Russell Animal Hospital have been exceptional in caring for my dogs, in sickness and in health. They have also been caring of me as an owner, particularly when I have had to let my dogs cross that Rainbow Bridge. Wonderful care for my dog Nikki who tore her ACL. Dr. Paine explained the injury, the consequences, the alternatives, the treatment, the future in thorough detail. I wish my human doctors were this informative. Great job on the surgery, she is healing well. Russell Animal Hospital is great.
