I tried out this dentist office after moving to Collierville. During my first exam I was told that all six of my old silver fillings needed to be replaced because my teeth were decaying and would start cracking away. Since my previous dentist never mentioned my old fillings, I got a second opinion. The second opinion said that my fillings are fine, there is no decay and no sign of damage. No reason to replace them. My wife also went here and was told that three of her composite fillings (the white ones) which were only 3 years old, needed to be replaced. One of my sons had a cap installed and it came off twice before we finally had it put on by another dentist and have had no other problems. I dont know if the dentist is incompetent or greedy or both but our family will never go back here.

No, I dont love going to the dentist, but Thames Family Dentistry gets five stars. If youve gotta be tortured, its good to be tortured by kind and friendly people. •The office staff are precious ladies who call me by name and bend over backwards to accommodate me. •The dentist is patient with anxious patients and works well with teens as well as adults. •I appreciate that TFD is open with pricing and gives me discounts because I pay cash (dont have dental insurance). They are always upfront about extra costs and dont tack them on without my permission. They also dont pressure me for additional services. •They are good people who offer high quality dental service. I do my regular 6 months visits there. Ive also had fillings, replacement fillings, and a crown.

We have received excellent dental care from Thames Family Dentistry. After going to another dentist for many years, we switched to Thames when they opened their Collierville office. The reason we changed was the digital x-rays that revealed that my daughter and I each had numerous small cavities that traditional film x-rays had missed! We are very pleased with the personal service, the flexibility of scheduling, and the FRIENDLINESS of the staff at this state of the art equipment at this dental office. My daughter has almost completed her Invisalign treatment. You wont be disappointed in the care you receive from Thames Family Dentistry!

Ive been going to Dr. Thames for over 3 yrs now and have no complaints. The staff are very friendly and the office is very comfortable. The drive is a little longer from Southaven than his old office in Olive Branch, but it is worth it when you trust someone for your care. I even enjoy going to the dentist now..if thats even possible. My hygienist is amazing and takes good care of me and if Im having a bad day, her smile makes my troubles go away...Thanks M!! .

First dentist I have found since I was a child that really took the time to explain everything that was going on with my teeth, gums, etc. Dr. Thames takes the time to not only explain why you need certain work, but also goes into detail to tell you exactly what is going to happen if you continue to neglect certain treatments. EXTREMELY pleased with the service of the office staff, and cant imagine there is a better Dentist in the city.

I went in for a cleaning. I saw the female doctor who came in for 1 second and looked in my mouth with a mirror and didnt even probe around. Charged me for a full exam which didnt exist. I called to pay the bill and "Stacy" couldnt even be polite on the phone and hung up on me. I suppose good medical service and taking care of patients isnt part of their service plan.

Dr. Thames did extensive work on me. And while my time in the chair was long, I always felt attended to and was always comfortable. His staff was VERY efficient, and pleasant. They went out of the way to see to my needs, even with follow-up calls after my visit. I highly recommend Thames Family Dentistry to anyone.

The best dental experience Ive ever had. The office is SO nice! The chairs heat and massage and there are TVs in all of the rooms. Everyone is very nice and informative. Dr. Thames is a great dentist. I actually am looking forward to my next visit now. Good job!

Ive been a patient of Dr Thames for almost 2 years now. The staff is always professional and efficient. Ive had invisalign for 6 months and my teeth have moved greatly in that short time period. I cant wait to see what my smile looks like when Ive compeleted it.
