I am a singer songwriter who is very happy to have heard about Dr Allison on a podcast called "All Things Vocal." I made an appointment to have an adjustment for after a 2-day drive, and before a series of vocal recording sessions. I am no stranger to the benefit of good chiropractic adjustment, nor to the good which can be gained from alternative and complementary medicine combined with healthy lifestyle. It seemed wise to build this priority well in advance of my trip. To my surprise, I found that Dr Allison was not merely concerned with my spine, but with my overall picture of my heath status at that time. Within a few minutes, he had gathered what other practitioners had taken several appointments to understand and process. He knowledgeably addressed each of my medical glitches with rapidity -giving me take-aways that either affirmed or added exponentially to my already literate arsenal from which I draw upon for daily battle. I could tell I was in the presence of someone who could I could learn from, and might be able to help me with more than an adjustment. I tried two therapeutic modalities which I had not heard of before that day, and some of my typical muscle tension noticeably subsided. It was impressive, and I took note...But the greatest unexpected thing that happened that day was yet to come. My adjustment. All I expected from a visit to Dr Allison was some temporary relief of any muscle tension from the stress caused by hours of driving, sleeping in my car along the way, and performance anxiety leading up to my sessions. I figured if he works with professional singers, than he might be able to help me "feel" better for just that week. Three weeks prior to my trip, I had a routine annual scope procedure, and my GI Dr informed me that over the past three years he has been observing a progression of paralysis all along my esophagus. Disappointing to find out upon waking from a procedure I thought was going clear scar tissue and help food to stop getting stuck, and more recently had been affecting my ability to swallow and my speaking and singing voice. One well placed "click" by Dr Allison on my C-6 and immediately I could swallow, and my speaking voice (and singing voice) was "freed-up!" I have never experienced such a gentle adjustment, yet it was more potent than any other method of adjustment I had ever had! And it did not last for mere minutes, hours, or days, but for months now! I did not expect to have wellness to THAT degree! MY recording sessions turned out far better and more fruitful and actually hopeful than I had envisioned. Now I am rethinking my entire health profile (and my songwriting activities) through a different and more positive light. Im looking forward my next long drive, returning to Dr Allison to finish what was started that day, and also making more un-impeded clear progress on my song catalog in a recording studio again! For a more detailed version of my experience, make an appointment or stop by Dr Allisons office and read my full patient testimonial on file.

Ive suffered terribly from allergies ever since I moved to Tennessee in 2006. At first it was seasonal - really bad - with severe symptoms that often resulted in doctors appointments and missed work, but over the years it started to progress and my skin started breaking out really badly. I tried everything from diet modifications to personal product changes and even saw a dermatologist. So when I saw Dr. Allisons advertisement about non-invasive laser allergy treatment, I did a lot of research. Results were mixed, and very inconclusive, but after talking to someone who was thrilled with the results of her treatment, I decided to go for it. Dr. Allison and his staff made me feel very welcome and at ease. I was thrilled when he decided he could help me. The results of the allergy test were immediate and I was stunned at the sheer volume and breadth of substances to which I had sensitivities. The laser testing and treatment is a non-invasive procedure that involves only clamps onto my middle fingers. Thats it. No pain, no fear, no needles, nothing. Its tempting to wonder if anything is really happening at all. Results were immediate after each treatment (its a set of 10 visits, about 25 mins each). The inflammation abated and within 2-3 weeks the skin on my face is perfect! Besides the scarring that already occurred, I could skip makeup. I havent had that luxury since puberty. Also, as I watch the spring flowers and trees blooming, for the first time in a very long time I can appreciate the beauty without dreading what comes next. No itchy watery eyes, no runny nose, no flu-like symptoms, sore throat, lethargy -- I have SO MUCH energy! I am so thrilled and I want everyone to know that this treatment is available. Thanks just doesnt cover it.

I cant say enough about Dr. Allison and at the same time I dont know where to start! in 2008 I was in a car accident with my husband. I had some pretty bad injuries to my lower back and hips. Ive seen 3 different chiropractors, 5 Physical therapists, a hydro therapist, acupuncture, nerve blocking, nerve burning, steroids, I was taking 3-4 pain killers a day just to be able to function at minimum capacity, there were days I could physically not get out of bed. I was stuck in my bedroom for 5 months because I couldnt get up and down the stairs of our house. My daughter was 5 at teh time of the accident and I couldnt hold her on my lap anymore, there were no more date nights, I couldnt work anymore I was a mess and depressed on top of it all.You name it Ive probably tried it at some time between 2008 and Jan of 2015. my mother had a pinched nerve and found Dr. Allison a week later I was in with him for an evaluation. I have been seeing dr. Allison for 6 weeks now and I only have to take a pain pill after a long busy day. This last weekend I was able to work on some filing and organizing something that there would have been no way I could do before. after 2 days of a lot of bending and moving around to organize my new desk I did have to take a pain pill before bed but 1 pill before bed compared to 1 pill just to get out of bed followed by 2-3 more just to be able to stay somewhat upright is a huge change for me. Im getting back to the person I was before the accident, Ive found my confidence again, Im not stuck in the house 24/7 anymore. I was actually able to go out on a date with my husband of 22 years for Valentines day and were planning another one for our anniversary this month. dr. Allison has given me my life back

I recently relocated to Franklin, and was in search of a new chiropractor, having strained my back during the move. After contacting several, I found Dr. Dwaine Allison. My first visit was highly professional and thorough. He was able to provide substantial relief with his gentle hands. After several visits, I had improved significantly and soon had my life back. Dr. Allison is kind, knowledgeable, caring and responsive to my needs. I believe Dr. Allisons vast knowledge of body dynamics and well-being is something he knows so deeply, that he could explain it to a child. In fact, he often speaks before community groups and teaches simple techniques that anyone can use for a happier, more comfortable everyday life.
