My 2 children have been patients of Dr Jaya for almost a year now and I could not be happier. I had both of my kids in a large pediatric group initally and was frustrated by the lack of consistancy of care due to we saw so many different doctors. When my son developed asthma it was frustrating not seeing the same MD because I felt if we were able to see the same MD we would get much better care. Dr Jaya has been awesome. She has done a fantastic job of managing our asthma and keeping us out of the hospital and emergency room. It is wonderful seeing the same MD because she knows our baseline and when we get worse. I love when I call the office no matter what time of the day or night I talk with her directly, not an answering service or a nurse oncall. She is so patient, professional, thorough, and sweet to our kids. I know my kids get by far much better medical care now and love that we are in a small office now and have such personal relationship with our pediatrician. My family moved to the area a little over three years ago, and Dr. Jaya has been a part of our family ever since. Her calm and professional manner is enhanced by her inclination to listen and ask questions. I have never felt rushed, and Dr. Jaya speaks to my children as equals, encouraging them to talk, and giving full attention to their answers. Instead of feeling rushed out the door with a prescription, I have an understanding of the situation, what we are going to do, and what to do if we need to go to the next step (with clear direction on what to watch for).

All three of my children go to Collierville Pediatrics and are cared for by Dr. Newman. He has a great way with the kids and connects with the youngest as easily as the teenagers. I highly recommend this care provider.

Dr Jaya and her staff are awesome! The receptionist, assistants and nurses are so polite, patient and professional- so glad we found them. Best pediatrician in the area, in my opinion!

POORLY lacking!!! Have called four days in a row....just to make an appointment....and continually get the voicemail. STILL waiting for a "call-back". Really sad!!!
