I had to find a new dentist since I just moved and went to Mint because it had been recommended to me through a friend, plus it had great reviews online. It now seems a bit odd there are so many great reviews based upon my experience. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. I have no complaints there. The problems started when Dr. Harrison came in and explained to me that I had 6 cavities...when I had never had a cavity in my life. I started to doubt his explanation not only cause there were so many when I had never had them before, but because he was "showing" them to me through photographs and not actual xrays. Then I was also disappointed when my cleaning only took about 15-20 min total (when Im used to hour long cleanings at my old dentist) and I walked out of there not even seeing a difference. Guess they count on the free whitening to take care of that. Immediately I scheduled an appointment with my doctor back home (extremely well known and also a long time family friend). After checking my xrays and looking in person, he explained to me that I only had 1 cavity and that it was nothing terrible - the rest were just staining. He also explained that he gives conferences on the differences between rotting and staining and is disappointed to still see young doctors are misdiagnosing patients. Clearly what Dr Harrison was showing me in those pictures was just staining that would look like cavities to the untrained eye. $500 saved and 1 cavity filled, I walked out of there knowing I would never go back to Mint again. However, this place is great if you like massage chairs, tvs, free teeth whitening, and good looking people.

I recently had a bridge completed at the Mockingbird location. I am very unhappy with the bridge. It is very bulky and ill fitting. I can barely chew on it and it feels like a big huge piece of junk in my mouth. It does not feel natural at all. The dentist that worked on me did not allow me to see the bridge before putting it in. He also, did not perform a dry fit to determine if it was okay. He cemented it in and then asked, "how does it feel?" I told him very bulky and he said, you have to get use to it. This is not my first bridge. I had a bridge completed at Baylor dentistry college in my early 20s and it felt natural within two days. I had that same bridge replaced by Monarch in my 40s and it felt completely natural. The work completed by Mint dentistry makes my mouth feel like an elephant foot is in there. Also, prior to cementing the bridge, the dentist blew air on my tooth and I felt like I had been struck by lighting it hurt so bad. He made no attempt to seal the tooth, he told me the cement will seal the pain. (I hope this is true). I am going to ask them to remove this bridge because it is extremely uncomfortable. It is too big and off line with my gums. Also, the color is too white. Wish me luck. I hope they are willing to correct this problem.

TRUST ME - THESE GUYS ARE GREAT! I cant begin to praise the unique and positive experience I recently had at Mint Dentistry. I went in because of a crazy nerve that was firing when Id chomp down on crackers and other similar foods. The problem was getting pretty bad even though I had lived with it for many years. Couldnt anymore. I asked them to take a look at it and, after quite a bit of probing and testing, they recommend a crown. I had never had any major dental work done and was quite nervous, but, to make a long story short, I approved the procedure, and it was done and over with in about 50 minutes. (As usually happens, I was expecting to be sent to another specialist, and even another, to have this work done.) I couldnt believe it. I expected serious trauma but that never happened. Getting my permanent crown was just as easy. In and out in about 30 minutes with no trauma. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

Mint Dentistry – Amazing Dental Hospital I have been going to Mint Dentistry in Dallas for over a year now. I love these guys. I recommend them to everyone. Yesterday, I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and treated me with the utmost kindness – from the receptionist to Dr. Field Harrison. I had so many people tell me getting wisdom teeth extracted was the worst experience. Well, they are all wrong. I’m slightly sore but no pain at all. I completely equate not having pain to Mint Dentistry - Dr. Field Harrison and his team. My husband is also a patient there and will never change because he too completely trusts Mint Dentistry. Next, he will be getting a cap and I’ll be getting Invisalign at Mint Dentistry! Thank you Mint Dentistry team!

2 years ago I went to see Dr. Harrison to get my teeth cleaned. Very nice office and friendly staff greeted me. After a thorough cleaning Dr. Harrison and his other dentist both told me that I was going to need 4 crowns. I was floored...30 years old and needed 4 crowns?? I left and never got a second opinion...I knew what I had in front of me so I started saving and got dental insurance. 2 years later now in Charlotte...I visited one of my dental clients, as I am now in Dental Sales, and told her it was her lucky day and that I needed a lot of work. Terrified...after a full examination I had one small cavity and I needed some scaling since it had been a couple years since I had gotten my teeth cleaned. Just be careful that you really get the treatment you need.

I dont usually write reviews but I googled Mint Dentistry, read all the reviews and am in complete agreement with all the opinions on here. An awesome experience and not your typical dental visit. There is so much eye candy (magazines, attractive women, plasma t.v.s) that it takes your mind off the fact that you are about to see a dentist. When I went into see Dr. Harrison he was very personable and attentive to my needs. You just know that he takes great appreciation with doing the best job he can with every client. I came away with the thought that above all he takes pride in wanting to help people. That says alot. Great job Dr. Harrison

Mint was Great, I switched to mint after always being haggled by my old Dentist office. The staff was great and the office was really nice with all new equipment. When it came down to getting my diagnosis Dr. Harrison told me that there were two ways to go about the treatment, he recommended the way that was less expensive and would actually hold up better for what I needed. This was great because my old dentist was always trying to up sell me. Mint does a great job and are in a perfect location.
