I came here with a friend of mine who wanted a second opinion after receiving a treatment plan from another dental office (Mint) that wanted to replace 4 teeth with implants. He called Bethel and got an appointment the same day. Dr. Egede did a complete exam with xrays and determined that none of his teeth needed removed. Dr Egede prioritized what needed to be done which was three fillings and a root canal. The root canal was scheduled for that Friday. My friend, who has dentist-phobia, came out after having the root canal with an intact tooth and cured of his fear of dentists, He had nothing but good things to say about Dr Egede. What impressed me about this clinic is: 1.) The staff is amazing. This is a very busy office yet they have everything under control and demonstrate that they truly care. 2.) The clinics priority seems to put helping people over maximizing profit. In addition to accepting private insurance they also accept public assistance programs like CHIP. They were also able to prioritize what needed to be done to make it more financially manageable. The treatment plan from Mint was $8,000 and they wanted a third party credit application to start treatment. The treatment plan from Bethany was $740 and he was able to keep all of his teeth. The big price difference was determining no need for implants, more competitive pricing on the root canal / crown and they didnt charge separately for items that go along with a procedure. Bethel is located on Maple Ave in a nondescript building. Dont let that fool you. When you walk in the office it is very nice, modern and very clean. It is the most up-beat atmosphere that I have seen in a dental office. There are many children but both times I visited everyone was well behaved which is what prompted me to write a review. They have the latest in equipment like digital XRAY and a very efficient staff. After visiting I have determined that this will be my new dentist. I grew up in a rural farm town where many people did not have insurance but were always treated with top notch care. This reminded me of that which is something you dont always see in the city. A+++ for Bethel Family Dentistry!

My 5 year old daughter went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago for a teeth cleaning and xrays. She received a grade A on her teeth, but when the dentist saw her we were told she needed 8 CAPS! The dentist said she had cavities in between all her back teeth, but never showed me the teeth that needed to be fixed or the cavities! The office, then, scheduled for her to have dental SURGERY! !! Now as a parent, I was super distraught and the news sat very uncomfortable with me. After a full day of crying and praying (yes, big deal for me), I decided to call a good friend who referred me to her dentist office that she works to get a 2nd opinion! Anyway, I was able to get my daughter seen and x-rayed in a very expedited manner! When Dr. Egede reviewed her xrays and teeth, he assured us that her teeth looked GREAT. She only had 2 small cavities which were filled and capped the same day! He, as well as the STAFF made my daughter feel super comfortable the entire visit! I thank God for his sufficient grace and giving me the maternal instinct to get a 2nd opinion! I give this office an A+!!

Everyone here is so nice. They all do a fantastic job from the ladies at the front to the dentist and the people in the back. I also bring my two boys age 2 and 1 because they do so good with my babies. I recommend this place to everyone
