My husband and I both went to Chacko for years just because her office was close to home, accepted our insurance, and always had appointments available. We absolutely hated dealing with them. Dr. Chacko was condescending and treated us with constant skepticism and suspicion refusing to listen to our needs. We have had similar experiences to the other negative ones described on this site (unnecessary return visits due to misdiagnoses, being required to pay for and attend unnecessary follow-ups for simple refills, etc.). In addition, the office staff is completely incompetent and rude! They rarely return phone calls, fail to call in prescriptions before long holidays/weekends so you have to go without, and have made numerous payment mistakes that have cost me significant $$$. They once overcharged me $96 because they didnt know how to work their credit card machine and then took 3 months to correct it! I had to press the issue to find out how it happened, and it was like pulling teeth to get them to admit that they made a mistake. And with the nasty attitudes in there, forget about any kind of apology! Every time we go in that place, it seems like there is a problem. We decided they always have appointments available because they treat patients so poorly that no one in town wants to go there.

I have never in my life felt so disrespected and degraded my a doctor and staff. This woman questions every thing I say. I asked for a specific smoking cessation pack (Chantix) she says why dont you try another one. I explained i knew about thr both of them and their rates of success. However. She still gave me a prescription for the one I did not want. I went back and told her I could not take that. Dr. Chako looks at me and says youre bipolar and depressed! WHAT? So, now Im considered off my rocker because I know what I want and dont want? She later tells my husband she never said this to me however, i have 2 prescriptions that Ive never touched that she has prescribed for my "depression" The board needs to do something about this lady. Im extremely close to reporting her. For the last week and a half Ive had weakness and numbness in thr left side of my body. I asked her for something for pain. She says Ill give you a shot that lasts 8 hrs. but I will not prescribe you anything for pain. Really? Ive been going here for a few months now, never needed anything for pain. The one time I truly need it, she leaves me in the mud. Thank God my nuerologist has found and is treating the issue and prescribed me a pain medicine so I can feel normal for a while.

This doctor is awful. I visited her two times. The first time I visited her she misdiagnosed and I had to go back and pay another office visit for her to get it right. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time when I got sick.....same thing, she misdiagnosed, and refused to prescribe me the correct medication over the phone, saying that I would have to go back and pay for a second office visit. She didnt even get back to me until two days after I called her and left a few messages to say that my condition was not improving. She will try to take you for all youve got, such as unnecessary blood work when I went in for a sinus infection (which she did not manage to catch the first time). She is also very unprofessional, she rolled her eyes at me when I told her I could not take a certain medication because I have adverse side-effects when I take it. She also does not do refills on medications, so that you will have to go back if your on a medication that you will need to take on a regular basis. I have never been to such an awful doctor before and hope that people do their research before scheduling an appointment with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Chacko and Nurse Practitioner, Amanda for almost two years now. They are through and intentional in their healthcare practices and treatments. It is evident that they care about their patients. I am always treated with patience, respect and dignity. Amanda usually follows up with a phone call to check on how treatment is progressing. My husband has seen both Dr. Chacko and Amanda within the past year. He was very impressed with their professionalism, stating they are very respectful and kind with how they speak with and listen to their patients. The office staff are always pleasant and helpful with scheduling appointments. Stonebrook Family Medical is truly a family oriented medical practice with the highest caliber of caring, knowable medical professionals. Thank you all at Stonebrook Medical!

Dr. Chackos bedside manner is questionable. She doesnt explain anything to you, and she doesnt seem to care much for your medical history. She doesnt even think twice before prescribing antibiotics repeatedly to someone who has an auto-immune disorder, even if it has the potential to jeopardize your immune system, EVEN if the antibiotics "probably wont work." If a prescription she gives you doesnt work, she wont prescribe you anything else unless you go in to see her AGAIN. She treats you as if youre lying about things like exercise, sexual activity, etc. Further, her office is a mess. I was charged for a visit for what should have been my FREE well womens exam, because they categorized it as something else.

Everybody at Stonebrook Family Medicine was really friendly and nice! Id never had a physical before even though Im a 30 year old woman, and they didnt make me feel bad about it. My boyfriends family recommended this place to me, and I can see why. Dr. Chacko was very kind and easy to talk to. The appointment went by fast but it wasnt rushed. Took less than an hour, including the time it took for me to fill out forms. I usually dont write reviews, but Im very happy with how everything went and look forward to going back next year.

my wife was there cause of an infection and pain in her throat , this useless doctor dint even check her nor prescribe any antibiotics. Luckily I took her to the urgent care the next day and she was prescribed antibiotics for the infection which she had to suffer. In fact they also declined to process the insurance and charged us full price. Made the insurance guys call them twice and had them process the insurance. And now they send us another mail that we owe them money. Was it cause of this review ?

My family has been seeing Dr. Chacko for many years and would never think about seeing anyone else. She truly cares about her patients and takes her time with you on every visit. We have never felt that she rushed through our appointment. Her staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed each time you walk in the door. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a new family doctor.

Chacko does absolutely ZERO follow up. This office is all about making $$$ & zero about patient care. They should at least try to fake it a little! If you go, she is okay at giving you an antibiotic if she thinks you might have a throat infection. Shes misdiagnosed me several times, and you pay an office visit each time, even if youre returning due to misdiagnosis. Be careful, only go if desperate.
