I received dental services in August of 2015. At the time I paid what Wildflower Dentistry told me I owed after they had verified my insurance. On 3-10-2017 I received an invoice asking that I pay $138.70. Basically, about a year and a half after services I get a surprise bill. The explanation I was given was that the insurance company denied the claim. Wildflower Dentistrys business practices of taking what is owed to them at the time of service and then asking for additional money after 17 months is absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend using this dentist unless you would be happy with them verifying your insurance, taking what you owe on the date of service, and then sending you a bill 17 months later. I paid them the amount they requested so that I would not have to deal with them in the future. I would not trust a company who needs $138.70 so badly that they bill 17 months after the date of service.

I previously wrote a review about the $3200 bridge that I received less than a year ago and that was now cracked and it was my fault and I would have to pay for the repair. I also had some other complaints about my visit and care. Well, on February 14th after 7:00 pm, I received a phone call from Dr.Walkington and he assured me that he would replace the bridge, and we talked about other concerns,as well. I am happy to say that I received a deep cleaning on Tuesday and it went very well! The staff and doctor went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I do need some other work done, and the bridge has not been replaced, yet. But, I feel certain, that once I have the bridge replaced and some of the other work done, that I will be able to change this review to 5 stars. I hope to update this review again soon

I have been using Dr. Walkington for the past year and a half. I had to switch from another dentist in Frisco. My parents found Wildflower Dental first and they kept telling me how wonderful it is. I waited a year to make sure that they loved it before switching. Everyone is so professional from the front desk, billing, hygienists and dentist. All paperwork is on line and check in is on an iPad which is so convenient. This past visit I needed a root canal and crown on one of my teeth. I explained that I might need the gas because of nervousness. They were super amazing and got everything set up in record time. I never even felt the numbing shot!!! So thankful for everyone at Wildflower especially Samantha and Lindsey who work so hard to accommodate my schedule.

Very unpleasant experience. I had an appointment scheduled for my son to have his wisdom teeth extracted. I called to cancel the appointment first on Wednesday 07/15/15. No answer at the office at 4PM I then called back on Thurday at 11AM and and had to leave a message to cancel. When I received a call back I was advised I would be charged $50.00 to cancel. I made every effort to cancel timely. WIll not return to this dental practice for any additional treatment. I advised them I was going to write this review and they showed zero intertest in working to resolve this with me. They said "well just bill you son the $50.00 since he signed the paperwork".

This practice is great. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. Dr. Walkington is very nice and professional. I went to several locations researching braces; the other places were very quick to say yes we will do this or that, without taking xrays or even allowing me to meet the orthodontist. Dr. Walkington was very thorough, he did xrays and even a ct to make sure he wouldnt hit a nerve when removing my wisdom teeth. The procedure went perfect, and the braces are working perfect. Highly recommended!!! Update 5/4/16 Braces worked fast and perfect! My teeth look amazing, I still cant believe it. I highly recommend Wildflower. Great people!

Terrible! Uncaring and Unprofessional Dentist. You call Dr. Walkington after hours on his emergency phone provided on the message at his office phone and he is not professional enough to call you back. I called several times in pain and with an infection. It was his voice mail. He never called back and bothered to speak with me. Unprofessional and Uncaring. Avoid this Dentist! Frisco, as I found out has much better Dentist, ones that will return your call, and take care of you, no matter the hour! Dr. Walkington does not take the time to call after hours, then think about how unprofessional his care is during hours!

My 80 year old mother was in from out of town, and her temporary bridge came loose, so I called the office to see about getting it temporarily re-glued until she could get home to her regular dentist. I was informed she could use the coupon for her exam, and pay any other fee. She never even got an exam, but was charged $173 to simply place some cement on her bridge and re-attach. Not only that, it came loose 3 days later. No way was she going to call them and be subject to another fee to put it back in. Out for $ and took total advantage of my mom. TERRIBLE experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST.

What a great dentist! I had terrible experiences with dentists with a kid, and havent been to the dentist in a couple of years. I picked this dentist even though they are about 15 miles from home - I liked the feel I got from their advertising, and I liked that I talk to a woman in the office about appointments, not someone in a call center in another city. The work has been great, and even though I needed a deep cleaning and a wisdom tooth extraction, pain free. Now, I just need to get my wife to get in and get her teeth checked out. I cant recommend them highly enought.

I am very pleased with this dental office. They obviously put a lot of work into making dental visits as pleasant as possible. They figured out way more about my insurance for my very first visit and I could even break things up into a monthly payment which made things much easier for me. The atmosphere of the office made it seem like I wasn’t even at a dental office. Doctor Walkington explained everything to me in great detail before all the treatments that he did for me. I will be recommending him to everyone. Thanks Dr. Walkington and staff!

Doctor gave me some rubbish reason for smell in my mouth. I was kinda of laughing ki is it? I requested them to release X-ray and other documents over email and they start asking for money for those. What money for documents which belongs to me and for which they have already paid by insurance company. I did the same from other doctor offices and no one asked for money. I wont recommend them. Highly disappointed with their service and behaviour.

I highly recommend Wildflower Family Dentistry. Dr. Walkington and his staff have done a great job of getting my family back on track after missing several years of dentist visits. The office is relaxing, the staff are very friendly and Dr. Walkington talks you through every procedure, what it entails, why it needs to be done, and how long it will take. You will not find a better dental experience in Frisco than Wildflower Family Dentistry.
