Love Dr. Harr and her Team! I have not been to the dentist in a really long time and asked a coworker for a recommendation that took our insurance. She recommended Dr. Harrs Office and I called and scheduled an appointment. As soon as I walked in I loved the look and feel of the Office. It didnt feel like the Dentist I went to as a kid. The Check in process on the computer was better than filling out the multiple forms you normally do at an Office. I only waited a few minutes to see the gal that took my x-rays. She was super nice and I loved how quick the x-rays were to take. My Dental Hygienist Brooke was a delight! The rooms were open and I had a TV to watch while she took some more quick x-rays. Technology has advanced a lot since my last cleaning. It was great to see the pictures of my teeth right in front of me while she explained what she had uncovered during my cleaning. The Print Out of my Proposed Treatment Plan was very easy to read regarding the cost, what my insurance covered and what I the patient was going to pay for. I appreciate the professionalism and caring that Dr. Harr and her Team provided on my visit. Now to just get my husband to go there. ☺

I have never been very enthused about going to the dentist, which is why I hadnt been in a number of years. The facility is extremely warm and welcoming, and the staff couldnt have been more pleasant. From the comfy couches and fireplace in the waiting area, to the technician offering chapstick after my X-rays, to another technician offering sunglasses for while my cleaning was getting underway so the lights wouldnt bother me, to the TV in front of the chair to distract me during the cleaning and also show me the X-rays and photos of my teeth..it felt more like a medical spa! it was such a pleasant experience all around. Melinda Harr and the technician also made sure I understood what was going on during every step of the exam, which was so comforting. I cant say enough good things about Melinda Harr and the staff at Melinda Harr Dental! I highly recommend Melinda Harr Dental to anyone who has put off going to the dentist for too long like I did. It can (and will be at Melinda Harr Dental!) a much more comfortable experience than it has been in the past!

I have been going to Dr. Harr for about 2 years. I LOVE her and her staff. They are all so friendly! Gwen and Brenda are very welcoming when you first get there and gladly answer any questions regarding insurance. All of the hygenists are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and are ready to answer any questions regarding cleanings, appointments, etc. Dr. Harr is VERY courteous and extremely professional. She is always conscious of teeth that may need attention and has state of the art equipment at her office. When I have needed a filling, she can always find time to get me in and is very accomodating. Kayla is a wonderful dental assistant, and the hygentists that I have seen (Jen and Jennifer) are also very fun and personable. They are wonderful with our daughters and the girls love going to the dentist! (How many people can say that?) I have recommended this practice to my friends who have had trouble getting in to their own dentist and they are HUGE fans of this practice. If you need a dentist Dr. Melinda Harr is the one for you!

Having grown up in the F-M area, I have had an opportunity to meet a handful of dentists in the area, and while all experiences were, well, experiences...nothing compares to the over the top customer experience that Dr. Harrs office offers. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted with a smile. I dont think I have ever waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment, and with a family of 6 (staggering 3 at a time) they manage to get us all done within minutes of one another. The technicians are friendly, happy, personable, and I am always left with the feeling that this staff loves their job and loves working for Dr. Harr. Dr. Harr is very patient, answers all questions in an easy laid back way and is so good with our kids. We have received flowers for dental work and never fail to get a text message on our respective birthdays. Dr. Harr dentistry has my business for life and I will not hesitate in giving her glowing references to anyone looking for the best the area has to offer.

I am not a lover of the dentist but since going to Dr Harrs office, I have always had a pleasant experience. It starts from your first step in the door where they greet you by name in their beautiful waiting area, to my great Hygienist Holly, who is very friendly and gentle while cleaning my teeth, to Dr Harr stepping in sometime during that time for the exam or to performing dental work. She is always asking if your doing ok and makes you feel very at ease. She will take the time to explain what she is going to do or show you what is going on with your teeth. My husband has been going to Dr Harrs office for many years now and suggested that I make the switch. I am so glad that I did, in fact the whole family sees Dr Harr. My 4 yrs old is not afraid of the dentist due to the wonderful staff making his appointments fun. He cant wait to pick something out of the treasure chest at the end. I would highly recommend Dr Harrs Dental Practice, you will not be disappointed. Jan Mayer

BEWARE!!!! The reviews on here are obviously written by the staff and friends of Dr. Harr. As a new patient in the FM area I consulted the internet to find a dentist. I am a young college student in that came from the Minneapolis to attend university here. After my initial consultation I was told that I had a cavity that needed to be filled. I was asked to pay a "estimate" of what my bill would be after insurance. I have good dental insurance and have never had to pay much out of pocket for visiting a dentist in the past. I had one small surface anterior cavity that needed filling. I paid the almost $300 for treatment after the procedure was done. I recently received an additional almost $200 bill in the mail. When I called to discuss it with the business manager of the office she was rude, snooty and short. I was told that this was extremely affordable for the FM area. I am no fool, and know when I am being taken advantage of. -Very disappointed in getting a review from Google

The staff at Melinda Harr Dental has always been very professional and cheerful. I always feel like I have had a good cleaning and a thorough checkup. Any necessary dental work has been explained very thoroughly. The staff is very efficient; return appointments are made in the exam room so there is never any waiting in line at the reception desk. I never have to wait to more than 3 or 4 minutes after arrival before I am called back to my appointment. It is a very efficient well run dental practice. My husband and I started going to Melinda when we moved to Fargo 8 years ago. Our son and his family and our daughter and her family also have Melinda Harr as their dentist. They like the manner in which the entire staff works with the children to make their dental experience pleasant. I would recommend this dental practice to anybody who is looking for up-to-date, efficient and pleasant dental care.
