I have taken my border collie to this location for a grooming 3 times, and NEVER will I return. The first time, we had no problems, Lexi is always excited to meet new people and make new friends, so dropping her off was no problem. The cut was also up to par. The second visit, she seemed a little resistant to pass through the gate, but I thought nothing of it. I dropped her off at 9am that day, and with no phone call by 3pm, I called and asked. They said they were just finishing and that she would be ready by the time I got in. I gave them an extra 45 minutes, just to be safe, but when I showed up, she was still on the grooming table. They quickly threw on a bandana and let her come with me. I realized when I got home that they had butchered the cut. I let it slide, maybe they were busy. Visit number three, which there never should have been, was the worst. Fortunately, the cut looks great, but something in my dog changed yesterday. As soon as I came to pick her up, she JUMPED OVER THE GATE to get out of there. When we got home, she went straight to her kennel and has stayed. I can encourage her out, but her tail is between her legs, and she pees herself as soon as I touch her. I dont know what they did to my dog yesterday, but I pray that her behavior and peace of mind return. I can assure you that I will NEVER return here, and I recommend that NO ONE ELSE BRING YOUR DOG HERE. I am not going to make any accusations, but I will say that your dog may not come home the same dog that went in. And you can bet that the corporate office will be hearing about this. Oh, and support local business!

We just moved to Houston and met another poodle owner whose dog was sporting a good cut. So, we asked where she got it and much to our surprise she told us PetSmart. Well, we usually seek out a more local business, but we gave the individual she referred to a try. The rates are decent, but unfortunately one of our dogs got cut on the ear the first visit! Much to their credit, the groomer called us and explained the accident and comped the cut. Thats fair. Too many decent people get ripped on review boards for disproportioned mistakes. The cut was good and our dog was un-phased. Then, four days later the groomer called to check on our dog. This is the fundamental business move that I respect. Make a mistake, correct it, follow up...Ive got no problem taking our dogs back for another shot. Ive met too many groomers who couldnt appear to care less about our dogs or their own businesses. The manager at PetSmart went the extra mile to show he cared about both. Thanks.

Dont risk your dogs life with the grooming salon! I was in the store 1/25/2015 in the afternoon and witnessed a tiny yorkie getting "groomed". If that were my dog, I would be livid with the groomer. She had 2 phones and turned her back often on the tiny dog left on the stand alone to text between the two phones. I dont know the groomers name but she had tattoos over her neck and she was a very tall african-american woman. The last time I brought my dogs to their salon was when I witnessed a dog hanging by its neck with only his fore paws on the table. These people dont care about your dog! If that woman today saw a $1000 bill she would be keeping her eye on it for sure but a tiny Yorkie.... didnt matter! DONT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE SALON IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG!!!!

I only come to this PetSmart location to buy some dog food. They always have the brand I buy in stock (Purina Pro Plan) and the prices here are pretty comparable to online prices (Amazon) or other local pet stores (Petco). Im glad that they offer online purchase to be picked up in store. However, the last time I did that, the staff who was helping me out had some trouble working the system to check me out. Normally, never any problem. Ive never used any of the other services being offered here (training, grooming, etc) so I cant comment on those.

I made a grooming appointment online. I dropped off my yorkie at 9am. At 5pm, I had not gotten a call to say that he was finished, so I just drove there to pick him up. They had forgotten about him and did not groom him. He stayed locked in that kennel all day without food, water, or a bathroom break. I was furious and asked how no one noticed him in the cage all day. They said sorry, but they didnt offer to groom him quickly or make an appointment for another day. They didnt offer me any incentive to return at all... So I wont.

So pretty much the only thing I go into PetSmart for for a few basic aquarium supplies, and even there they are limited. But heaven forbid you decide to buy a fish from there and getting someone down to the fish wall grab it and bag it for you period period period youll be waiting for quite some time period Then when the person does that help the other person standing next to you that just arrived. When they do finally help you they are polite and knowledgeable for the most part.

The prices on the Shelf did not match items you wanted to purchase even though they have more than one item on that shelf that was the same thing in the same area she would rather call someone to change the price then to sell you for what it was on the label so I end up going to Petco and Walmart to get the things I needed for my fish tank at a much better price

My 6yr old has been wanting a pet mouse badly. When we were visiting the store we could not decide to get a mouse, hamster, or a guinea pig until we had two associates give us some much great information about each. Their knowledge was amazing. I want to thank both Angie and Jessica for their help.

I dont know what it is about this store, but these people act as though they need to "watch" really closely when I walk in. I am just a shopper like everyone else! Ive come here since this store first opened and do not desire to steal ANYTHING for my furry baby....CHILL PEOPLE!

This location is almost never busy so the wait in the checkout line is usually like 1 or 2 people. The perception food we get has only been out of stock once in the past 4 years. As far as the services, Maxx at the grooming salon does a great job with our dogs.

Great sales reps, they go out of their way to make their customers happy, plus your animals would love to shop with you as well, and they do receive a bone as a treat for their shopping experience. Plus the cookies is something you would like as well
