I have never written a review before but after today I felt compelled. I have always hated the dentist. I have had horrible after horrifying experience and now have anxiety so bad about going to the dentist that I frequently throw up on the way there and even in the office from nerves. I needed a dentist. I have horrible teeth, and had 3 broken ones that werent letting me eat or sleep or even kiss my son for the past month. I saw that Dr. Roman was on my insurance and so after reading the reviews for Lovett Dental and Dr. Roman here, I decided to try. I am so relieved. My appointment was for 1pm, and I got there at 12:40. By 1:05pm I was being led back for xrays. The entire staff is amazing. Super friendly and professional. Dr. Roman is awesome!! He explained all of the procedures to me, explained what I needed to have done, answered all of my questions and did it without judging me, giving me attitude, or maintaining a holier than thou attitude. Judy, the office manager, helped me to get financing today and seemed more than willing to work with my budget. I ended up having 5 root canals today with more work to come. Dr. Roman fit me in because of the severity of my pain, and when I told Judy that I was sorry for messing up their schedule she told me not to worry about it at all and seemed genuinely concerned with how I was going to get home and if someone would be there to take care of me. In the future if I have to wait I will be fine with it because I will know that Dr. Roman and his staff are doing their best to help someone like they helped me. Now that I know I have a dentist I can trust, I am so relieved that I signed my son up for this offices Pediatric Dentist. I passe an employee giving a four year old his xrays and she was so gentle (quite the opposite of my sons first dental experience). The only draw back is that there are no toys in the waiting room. BUT there was a giant screen TV playing cartoons for the kids and I can keep my son occupied. I am in pain as we speak, but I am reliaved that Dr. Roman saved what teeth I have left and that I FINALLY no longer have to be afraid of the dentist. Thank you Dr. Roman, Judy, and Staff!!

I was a little hesitant at first due to some of the reviews that I read before coming in. I missed my first appointment, and ended up having to reschedule! It was like it was meant for me to miss my morning appointment. I met such wonderful people. Judy the first lady I saw, I had to share some personal information with her regarding some dental issues, and also letting her know that I have not been able to come to the dentist in over 10 years! She took such care of me, and was amazing the care, and the kindness that Judy gave to me was very personable and I think everyone looks for this in another individual. Then my Hygienist came in Marci oh wow she was a firecracker, by her smile to her laugh to her personality, she was great, she stated a conversation and we ended relating to one another on a business level and also a person level! She was doll, and really made me feel comfortable about my visit and handled my very sensitive teeth and gums with extra care and love, and spoke about how we were going to get going in the right direction. So if I havent already had two wonderful experiences with people, I have the dentist come in and goodness he had me laughing and he had me completely in my comfort zone, and just was amazing, he was so eager to get my teeth back on the path to where they were many years ago! When checking out and setting up other appointments, I met with a man Garry, and this is where I feel like God had a hand in all of this, and this was a divine appointment. Garry was so kind, and he helped me understand my insurance benefits, and helping me understand what was covered and what was not, and why it wasnt! He spoke to me about somethings, and he really touched my heart, and I am now so grateful to have met this staff! The reviews that are lower than a 5 star- there had to have been different management, drs and staff, because these people are amazing, humble, kind and very personable! We will be switching our whole family over to Lovett Dental.

Do your mouth a Big Fat Favor, because this dentist is very Horrible. Do Not Go to this Place of Torture. I had two fillings done, and while I was being prepped for the procedure, I was injected with numbing medicine. As I was given the shots, Dr. Levine hit a nerve in my right jaw, which hurt so terribly bad. The next day, I woke up in excruciating, agonizing pain, in my whole right side of my face, jaw, and ear. I called Dr. Levine, and hed misdiagnosed me with an infection. Hed unnecessarily prescribed antibiotics, which Id never even needed, and not only that, because the antibiotics had never worked. I knew it was not an infection because, the chronic nerve pain had lasted for 1-2 months, which strongly indicates nerve damage. It was nerve damage, not an infection. The dental hygienist is very rude, and incompetent. As she cleaned my teeth, she burned my mouth during the fluoride treatment, which felt like my mouth and lips were on fire. Not only that, but she also hurt the crud out of my whole entire mouth. By that, I mean she was way to rough, and harsh, while handling my teeth and gums. She misdiagnosed me with an infection on one of my upper wisdom teeth, and I asked her, " can I get antibiotics? ", and she told me, " no, you need your wisdom teeth pulled", despite that theyre perfectly fine, according to Dr. Levine. Even the orthodontist is rude and incompetent as well. He scared the crap out of me, when he told me that I needed jaw surgery, just for a mild crossbite. He refused to treat me, not even invisalign nor braces, which really pissed me off. The staff is very unprofessional and extremely incompetent. Especially Gary. I dont qualify for dental ppos. WTF? I would pay out of pocket to see a good professional dentist, who knows what theyre doing, and actually doing theyre job, rather than wasting hours of my life in this dentist from Hell. Im never coming here again.

Ive never written a review, but I had a pretty rotten experience with Lovett Dental of Humble today. Our original appointment time was scheduled for 10:30. I was going to be 15 minutes late, which is usually fine with most Dr. / Dentist offices, but I called to make sure it was okay before we went in. The receptionist told me that it was no problem, and that she could move me to 11:00, because someone else had cancelled. So we get there at 10:55 for our 11:00 appointment. We sit in the waiting area until 11:20, when they call her back for x-rays. She is 4. I told them I do not want x-rays, as I feel that she shouldnt be exposed to the radiation at her age and size. So they have us sit back down. 11:30, they call us again, along with someone else who came in after us for an 11:30 appointment. We get upstairs to see Dr. Nguyen, and she goes straight to the kid who had the 11:30 appointment. The assistant tells Dr. Nguyen that we were the first appointment, and we were there first. Dr. Nguyen looks directly at us, then goes to work on the girl anyway. I was pretty upset by this, so I went to the front desk and told them what had just happened. I cancelled my daughters appointment, along with some procedures they had just scheduled my husband for, which would have brought no telling how much in for them through our insurance (our bill was quoted over $1400.00). I am very disappointed with the way we were treated today, and I refuse not only to do business with such a practice, but to put my daughters dental care in uncaring hands. If the dentist had a problem with my denying x-rays, she shouldnt have made it personal. It is our right to choose.
