I want to preface this by stating that Dr. Putcha is awesome. He is a wonderful, caring doctor who really works to resolve his patients issues. Unfortunately, it is his office staff and PA that I have to give the practice a one star rating. My husband has been having pain off and on for the past couple of years. When we saw Dr. Putcha over the summer, he did tests and found that my husband has issues with acid reflux damaging his esophagus and stomach. He put my husband on meds that seemed to work, but it was temporary. When the pain returned, we went to TDDC and had to see a PA. The PA, Ashley, couldnt have been more uninterested in helping my husband if she tried. She had this attitude of she was right, we were wrong and her word was absolute law. We started to feel that his issues were with his gallbladder and discussed those issues with her which she totally dismissed. She even went as far as to suggest to my husband that the issues he was having were mental and that he should seek counseling or some form of meditation. Reluctantly, she ordered a test for his gallbladder. Even after the test results showed that the issue was with his gallbladder, she continued to state that this issue was mental as well as possibly muscle related. Well, he had gallbladder surgery and magically, the pain has disappeared. I guess his issue was mental after all. I called the office to dispute the bill for her diagnosis and was told by the office manager, Peggy, that everything I have stated is a lie and that there is no way that Ashley couldve acted this way towards a patient. In my opinion, they are well aware of how Ashley treats patients as her answers were a little too scripted. If you have to use this place, use Dr. Putcha and try to have as little contact with the front office staff as possible.

Front office staff is rude, they know nothing of how to help a customer or provide insurance support - told them months before when treatment started insurance was changing Jan 1st and they act like it is news to them - they schedule appointments and then say oh cant do because of insurance change - they order medications and have them sent without telling you and what to do about it - they dont call you with instructions for anything and I would never recommend anyone going here.

The doctors and front desk staff are very rude and dismissive. I saw Dr. Rendon who I was not happy with. He was very quick, in a hurry and dismissive of me during appt. Later, I requested to see a different physician within the practice and was informed that this was not allowed per their policy. I thought patients had rights? Ive never experienced such an unprofessional and rude practice in all my life!
