Everything, Every Person, Every Experience with Family Health and Wellness of Plano is simply PHENOMENAL!! The facility is brand new, cutting edge and pristine. I walk in feeling like a member of an elite and exclusive wellness spa, and I walk out knowing my insurance proudly covers all their services, and that I am in GREAT hands! Not only do they Most Family Physicians have only a general working knowledge of a broad based medicine. The concept is very original, practical and unique. Dr. Skinner is the Director of Family Medicine and serves as my Primary Care Physician. There is also a Director of Chiropractic Care that works with patients who have experienced strain or injury and would benefit from physical therapy programs consisting of stretching and adjustment techniques, muscle symmetry exercises, and therapeutic options such as the STEMS system and the well-known and absolutely proven Cryotherapy system! The team at FHWP additionally offer everything from Genetic Metabolic DNA testing to Diet and Exercise Wellness Plans. I recommend Family Health and Wellness of Plano with the highest of praise and accolade. I am forever grateful to every single member on staff, and I rest easy knowing that my entire family is being cared for in the best manner possible! It is very hard to find someone that cares about your wellbeing outside the 15 minutes you get in their doctors office. Dr. Skinner, however, has a deep working knowledge of all facets of General Medical Practice, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, and overall preventive practices for overall wellness. Not only does he have a comforting knack for medicine, he also has a comforting and excellent knack with people. He is well spoken, very personable and practical, and allows you to have a voice in drafting up a treatment plan that will work for you. Dr. Skinner doesn’t just take a prescription pad to each and every symptom like so many others in the industry do, nor does he carry out his appointments in a stressful interrogative like manner. He ENGAGES in conversation with you, and works to uncover the root cause that is preventing optimal health currently and overall wellness long term. He makes sure you understand all aspects of the treatment plan, and he takes the time to address any and all questions you have. There just aren’t enough words to express how truly wonderful the experience at Family Health and Wellness of Plano truly is. You really owe it to yourself and those you love to give them a call! You will be so so thankful you did!

I have seen doctor Skinner and Winningham at this office. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted by Crystal or Veronica, both are so calm and happy to help! Then you see either doctor and they really listen. I even received a call after I had some surgery from Dr. Winningham! I felt so cared for and I have always been nervous going to doctors (I was a sickly & accident-prone child). At this office and these doctors I immediately feel calm as I walk in and I always leave feeling truly cared for.

My experience at Family Heath and Wellness was wonderful. The receptions are friendly and efficient. Dr Skinner was also wonderful. He took the time to listen to all of my symptoms and concerns.
