Been going here for as long as I can remember, the doctors are great and the staff is friendly, the equipment is modern and hi-tech. However, the management is horrific. So, they WONT let you go without a parent, even if the parent completely consents to the minor going alone, even with written/verbal/phone permission they will NOT let a minor be seen at the office alone. On my most recent and LAST visit here I was told I could be seen with an adult sibling over the phone by management. When I got to the office (I had to leave school, and I do not live close) I was told that whoever (the manager!) told me I could be seen with an adult sibling, was incorrect and they would not see me without an adult. I can even go to a REAL medical doctors office alone, there is no reason a parent should be forced to take off work for their illogical policy. And when the manager over the phone told me a straight up lie is a great example of how unorganized the management really is, they dont even know their own policies! I placed one call to another dentist and they said right away they did not have a policy that stupid, not even to mention the fact that they AT LEAST knew their own polices! I will NEVER be returning to Kids Dental in Plano, their management not only has ignorant policies, they dont even know half of them and completely wasted my time. I do not respect a business who disrespects my time. If you want a business that respects you, DONT GO HERE!

Brought both my kids there this week, ages 5 and 3. This is the most modern dentist office I have ever been to in my life. My kids had so much fun, when we left I felt like we had just been to a birthday party minus the cake and ice cream. If you are lucky enough to have MetLife or Delta dental insurance and live in North Texas, take your child here for their dentistry!!! Youll have fun too! They even let the kids watch and do dentist games on an app they produced on an ipad called something like Ed Visits the Dentist to help your kids be more comfortable with whats going to happen during their visit. Way to go Dr. Holt! P.S. This is a real review and my first google review ever!

I love this place! The atmosphere is extremely kid-friendly, and all of the employees are helpful and welcoming. The kids were always pretty nervous about going to the dentist until we came to Kids Dental. Now, they count down the days until they get to go back for their next visit! They especially love the huge playland, movies, and cool toys they get at the end. The hygienists, dentists, and assistants take their time to make sure the children are comfortable, and walk them through the procedures instead of pushing them to do things they arent ready to do. Everyone should take their children here!

Watch out for these people, they are lying thieves! Took my kids there and they did stuff without letting me know that there would be a charge for it. We were just going in for teeth cleaning. Several years later I still get calls from their bill collectors. They also said my children needed $500 worth of dental work aka "cavities" I got a second opinion, went to a different dentist and the new dentist said my children had zero cavities! Who knows how many "cavities" I wasted my money paying for fake stuff that didnt even exist. They lie, cheat, and steal from innocent people. WORST DENTIST EVER!!

I took my daughter here for her first dental visit at 16 months and we had a great experience! The staff are very friendly and you get to pick a movie so the child can watch while they are getting examined. They have a really nice i door playground for the kids and puzzle games in the waiting area. The place is very clean and organized! Dr. Holt was very friendly and caring with my daughter and he listen to our concerns and provided us with great dental education for our little one, great tips! I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends!

I am a mother of a special needs child. We shopped around for the perfect fit for our unique situation until we found Dr. Holt! He is AMAZING with my son! Dr. Holt has a gentle yet eloquent personality puts you at ease the moment you meet him. Dr. Holt is precise and swift expertise have made the many procedures that my son has had painless and trouble-free. We come out of network for Dr. Holt! He is worth it! I highly recommend Dr. Holt and his staff (especially Shelley) to anyone searching for exceptional dental care for your child!

Took my 3 kids there for a year or so, my four-year old child had serious pain after the front baby tooth filling procedure was done, called the office and they said it was normal for the first a few days, but he was still in pain after 2-3 weeks, got him in to check it out. The doctor said they had to take out that tooth. I wanted a second opinion, they charged me ridiculous fees for transferring the records. The office management staff was terrible and very unpleasant to deal with. Never went back again.

Who ever thought the dentist could be this cool? There are so many entertaining features for kids, they dont even realize theyre at the dentist. Everyone who works here is so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, it makes you feel confident that your children are in good hands. I would highly recommend this office as the best pediatric dentists office in the entire DFW area!

This place is great! It is fun and comforting to the kids with all the different colors, movies to watch, and prizes and stickers for visiting. The staff is helping and very nice and make sure the kids get settled in great and are relaxed. It is a very nice fun place for kids to get great dental care without being scared.
