If it is BEST PRACTICES you are looking for in the field of physical therapy, you will find it at Pitman Creek Physical Therapy in Plano, Texas. For the past 6 years through various injuries, neuro-musculoskeletal problems, and surgeries, I have gone to Pitman Creek to recover and get well. There are a number of reasons why I feel that this facility is ONE OF THE BEST in the metroplex. First, Patti Schwartz, president, and her staff are extraordinarily caring and compassionate individuals. They demonstrate genuine concern, respect, empathy, and consideration for their patients. Not only do they attend to patient’s personal needs and comforts, but are understanding of the individual’s perspectives and are true advocates for them. This includes embracing the patient’s emotional and psychological aspects of care. Second, Patti Schwartz and her staff exemplify the highest regard for integrity. They have steadfast adherence to high professional standards and ethical principles. They are truthful, fair, and do what they say they will do which makes them exceptionally trustworthy. Patti and her team of physical therapists recognize the limit of one’s expertise and act accordingly by making appropriate referrals. Patti has wonderful relationships with other health professionals so if she thinks for example that you may benefit from water therapy, acupuncture, or other programs and interventions that are congruent with the patient needs she will communicate those suggestions. Third, Pitman Creek Physical Therapy Clinic is committed to meeting one’s obligations by providing effective physical therapy services to individual patients as well as to serve the profession itself. I have consistently observed that Patti and her staff seek continuous improvement in quality of care, assume responsibility for learning and change, and ask/respond to feedback from multiple sources. Pitman Creek’s physical therapists and staff preserve the safety, security, and confidentiality of both patients and clients. Their facility is very clean and well-maintained. Patti Schwartz takes exceptional pride in her profession. She facilitates each individual’s achievement of goals for function, health, and wellness. She mentors and educates her staff and students in a manner that facilitates the pursuit of learning. Patti provides outstanding leadership not only within her clinic but the community as well. In my opinion Patti Schwartz and Pitman Creek Physical Therapy Clinic go beyond expected standards of practice. So, if you are looking for BEST PRACTICES by one of the best physical therapy clinics in the metroplex, which has compassion, integrity, accountability, and excellence in their professional duty, PITMAN CREEK PHYSICAL THERAPY IN PLANO, TEXAS is the place!

Multiple surgeries left me with massive amounts of internal scar tissue that created muscle tightness and imbalances affecting my neck, hip, scapula and both shoulders, impinged the femoral artery in my leg and left me in chronic pain. Desperate for relief, I began searching for a solution that did not involve more surgery or a reliance on pain medication. Through much prayer and research, I found Stephanie Gordon, PT & Master Pilates Instructor at Cooper Aerobics, who in turn referred me to PATTI SCHWARTZ at PITMAN CREEK PHYSICAL THERAPY for intensive, hands-on myofascial release work and joint mobilization therapy. In my wildest dreams I could not have imagined the dramatic, positive difference in my health that that one referral would make. Never, ever have I had the kind of comprehensive, professional, thorough and educational treatment that I receive from Patti and her entire staff at Pitman Creek PT. Their approach to physical therapy encompasses the entirety of the process - educational, therapeutic, preventative and maintenance. Private treatment rooms, educational materials, patient explanations, hands-on therapy, myofascial release work, lymphatic and circulatory therapy combined with an old-fashioned common sense approach to health and wellness make an appointment with Patti feel more like a stop by your "Best Friend Who Also Happens To Be A Physical Therapist" rather than what it actually is - an appointment with one of the most sought after, highly skilled and talented clinicians in the state of Texas. I highly recommend PATTI SCHWARTZ and PITMAN CREEK PHYSICAL THERAPY.

This is the worst Physical Therapy clinic I have ever experienced. It’s dirty and small. You either in the middle of the little floor right when you walk in or in a tiny room with no privacy they have you half naked with the door wide open for everybody to see. The Physical Therapies didn’t do anything with me. Ask me where it hurts gave me a copy of exercises to do at home and that was it. I guess they don’t have room to do anything else. OMG!!! Never go there! Worst Place Ever!!! I made view appointments in advance but after going there twice I canceled them all. Now I have received a letter to pay a “NO CALL NO SHOW” fee….WHAT?! They are ridicules. I told them I am not paying for such a fee I canceled all my appointments. So now they are threaten me to send it to collection if I don’t pay. …WHAT???!!! REALLY!!!??? I have nothing to say anymore…If you looking for a GOOD place DON’T go there!!!

This place is great. Im a dancer and Id been having unexplained foot pain for about a year that prevented me from dancing. It came on slowly and no doctors were sure of what it was, which was extremely frustrating. Eventually, I started experiencing other unexplained pain, which made me even more dejected. Pitman Creek Physical Therapy, however, was a God-send. My physical therapist Patti was sweet and really listened when I described my pain. She and the equally caring assistants here were the only ones who were able to relieve much of my pain, enable me to start to do ballet movements that had been very painful before, and give me hope of recovery. I had to leave North Dallas before I was fully healed, but Im sure continued treatment here would have had me back in the ballet studio.

I played club, high school, olympic development, and college soccer. I have been to Pitman Creek Physical Therapy many times over many years. They have essentially kept me walking upright. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Everyone is treated like family. They spend a minimum of 15 minutes doing manual therapy on each patient, which I have found to be unique in the industry. Often times you will only get stretches, exercises and modalities. Not so at Pitman Creek. I have worked with all three of the current therapists, and they are all very professional and skilled. I have even started their new diet food they started selling and lost 30 pounds in two months! I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough!

This office has treated my daughter over multiple injuries. Highly recommend. If your Dr runs a PT office "next door" to his, I HIGHLY suggest visiting Pitman Creek instead!
