I had the greatest experience with Mary Ellen and the staff at NTPT. I have never had physical therapy before, so I really did not know what to expect. I was super anxious to get started six weeks after surgery so that I could start building core strength and get to a full recovery. The first appointment started with a pleasant greeting at the front desk and an efficient process of completing some paperwork and quickly getting me into the exam room for a physical assessment. Mary Ellen asked for my permission to have a student observe, which gave me even more confidence knowing that either Mary Ellen is "giving back" to her profession by providing training or some PT program respects her enough to have her to help train students (or both). Mary Ellen took some measurements and had me do some simple, easy stretches and exercises. I was surprised how easy the first few sessions were and pushed for "homework" (exercises to do at home). Mary Ellen explained the importance of allowing time for my back to heal and warned of trying to go too fast. Although I wanted the process of getting to a full recovery to go more quickly, I listened to Mary Ellens advice and have done exactly what she suggests. After only four sessions in two weeks, its been an amazing recovery. I feel stronger every day and Im confident in the treatment and advice Ive received from Mary Ellen and the staff at NTPT.

I dislocated my shoulder and rehabbed at North Texas PT for 6 weeks. I knew nothing about physical therapy prior to my injury and didnt know what to expect, but Mary Ellen and her team blew me away in all aspects of my experience. The service at the front desk/check-in was even top notch. Mary Ellen has a way of making you feel comfortable while also pushing you to succeed. She makes you believe in your ability to heal, and gives you confidence that makes the PT sessions fun and enjoyable. Kristen was also great to work with and she, too, made the sessions fun due to her positive attitude and genuine care/desire to help. Both of them are extremely knowledgeable, and do an excellent job of answering any questions you have. They also work with each patient individually and independently in order to create a therapy regime that fits the individuals goals for healing. My experience here was a huge success and I would recommend Mary Ellen and Kristen to anyone seeking physical therapy.

Ellen Nguyen from North Texas Physical Therapy was so helpful in my recovery and absolutely wonderful to deal with. I had pain shooting down my right arm during the last half of 2016, Id never experienced that kind of pain before so I let it linger. After seeing my family doctor which involved getting on muscle relaxers and also a orthopedist for a MRI, both of which were of little help, I reached out to Ellen. She was patient as she walked through the exercises I needed and today Im pain free. This was the first time Ive ever seen a PT and truthfully pretty skeptical but I was amazed that exercises and stretching could relieve the worse pain that Ive ever been through. Till this day I still do the exercises for maintenance purposes. Thank you Ellen for getting me back to normal!!

Mary Ellen and her staff are caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I came to them because of repetitive stress injury of my right hand due to years of computer mouse use. My hand and fingers were so painful, I was terribly afraid that I would have to give up my job. In our first session, Mary Ellen consulted with me about my workstation setup and spotted a couple of problems right away. When I corrected them, I saw immediate improvement. The rest of the therapy took time, but she and her staff were unfailingly pleasant, and the appointments werent a chore. The recommendations she gave me after our last session will go a long way toward preventing a recurrence. Best of all, Im able to use the hand without crippling pain. I highly recommend Mary Ellen and her staff.

I was recently in a car accident. I had a lot of pain in my hips, back, and legs. I also had vertigo for 3 weeks. Mary Ellen resolved most of the vertigo in one session and a second session fixed the rest as well as she taught me what to do in the future if I had the problem again. The hip pain had been going on for 2 months at that point. I had been to a chiropractor and massage therapy many times by the time I saw Mary Ellen and at that point I was still in a lot of pain. During the first 10 minutes she fixed the majority of the back pain and started me on exercises to stretch and strengthen the area. I had a decent nights sleep for the first time in 2 months. She is a PT Queen!

Over the years, I’ve gone to a number of P. T. clinics for various ailments, but I have to say this is the BEST! Mary Ellen Nguyen, PT, MS, in addition to being friendly and caring, is wonderful in patiently explaining and answering ones questions. She is both professional and knowledgeable, as is the entire staff! I have been quite impressed, and you will be too as they help you recover and regain your mobility! Note: you will love the easy-to-get-to location just around the corner from the Hillcrest/Campbell CVS. --- In a street level building with parking only a few steps away – you will appreciate love this easy access when on crutches or having to limp!

The folks at North Texas Physical Therapy were extremely helpful and professional. I chose physical therapy to improve my back pain (due to scoliosis) in lieu of surgery. My pain has been helped and I will continue to improve using the plan provided by Mary Ellen. She explained things in detail, monitored my progress, and at the end of my sessions, provided me with a detailed plan so I can continue with the exercises she prescribed. I would highly recommend North Texas Physical Therapy, and specifically Mary Ellen. Their personalized treatment made me feel comfortable.

Mary Ellen and Shelby were awesome to work with. I started my PT sessions due to bulging discs in my lower back. The pain was unbearable at times and affected my life at work. Mary Ellen was very sweet and was able to set up an exercise plan for me to do every night. Since then, I have started to feel much better and am able to work without unbearable pain! Debbie at the front desk is also super sweet and easy to work with. I highly recommend NTPT.
