YOU ARE FAR BETTER OFF FINDING ANOTHER DR. OFFICE! The front desk employee is rude, impatient and not fit for running a front desk at a pediatricians office. Children are normally weary of going to the doctor & having a person like that running the desk is not comforting in any way. Upon our first visit, there was an entire book of paperwork for me to fill out. I get it, you want as much medical history as possible. HOWEVER, asking for someones income level is not only exorbitant, but its rude! Totally none of their business. Even though I gave myself half an hour to fill out all of the needed paperwork, when we were led into the back for our appointment, everybody seemed rushed. We werent late, we were led back right on time for our appointment and yet the level of service left something to be desired. Every parent chooses the type of care their child receives. The Dr we saw was impatient, pretentious and disrespectful. Dr. Prajapati needs a lesson in manners as well as honoring the wishes of the patients parents. Not only will I not tolerate the attitude of above mentioned, but I will not allow it! I urge you to seek healthcare for your little ones elsewhere!

We are new to the Austin area having lived here for only 5 weeks, and with less than a week prior to school starting, I just found out my son does not have a Texas required vaccine (we have been living abroad for the past 3 years and were advised by our doctor in Japan that he is current on all his vaccines). I called this doctors office, knowing full well and acknowledging the fact that this is a busy time, but asked if there was any way to get my son in for this vaccine so he could start school next week. I was completely shut down. All I received was "no we have no available appointments." I have three children and have experience dealing with doctors offices and making appointments for each of them. In every other situation (both in Japan and previously living in the Chicago area), a doctors office has been willing to "work us in to the schedule" especially considering our circumstances. Not at this office. No flexibility. Just a complete NO. Hugely disappointing and frustrating.

Ive only been to this office for my childrens initial visit for well checks, but I feel certain that the wonderful experience is a sign of good things to come. I came in with all three, ages 9, 6 and 3, and only the older two were getting check ups. However, the entire staff "humored" the 3 year old who wanted to be treated like the big kids. They went to the trouble of weighing her and measuring her even though she wasnt on the schedule. Their flexibility made the appointment better for all of us. With other docs in the past, Ive spent the bulk of my visit in the waiting room and then in the "little waiting room" or exam room. With Dr. Reidys office visit, we spent a total of 10 minutes actually waiting and over an hour having the check-ups performed - they were that thorough and relaxed. My son put it best. On the way to the parking lot, I told him that he just had the most well-behaved doctors visit ever, and he said, "Well thats because shes the best doctor ever!"

Love our doctor but the front office person is very rude and unwelcoming. She made the entire experience for myself and my lo stressful from the moment we walked in the door. We were called back and she made everyone wait on her because it was imperative that she make us pay right then and there before we could go back. This made our actual appointment rushed and with my lo already very scared of the doctors office, it made him very uncomfortable and anxious. Worst experience ive ever had. Again, we love our doctor and the medical staff is very friendly as well. The front office person, unfortunately, has a huge part in the experience for the kids and the parents. This person is NOT fitting for this job and does not do well to reflect the doctors and medical staff she is supposed to be representing. Very disappointed.

Dr. Reidy is simply the best, and her experience shows in every visit (and we have had a LOT of them in the last 2 years with 2 babies). She actually takes the time to sit with you and explain everything, and she has the uncanny ability to sense how youre feeling as a mom. Shes been there. She also remembers names, which has to be difficult in a large practice and seeing so many children every day. Youre lucky if you get the chance to see Dr. Reidy, but the other Doctors there are great as well. The staff, nurses and students are very sweet, welcoming and professional. We LOVE this office and travel 30 minutes to get there for every appointment.

Ive been going here for 4 years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else! Caring staff, simple to get an appt same day if urgent. Dr. Reidy is highly experienced and thinks of everything...especially labs that would be useful for subsequent referrals with subspecialists giving them valuable info during the first visit to help with diagnosis to give you more immediate info plus save you time/hassle of having to schedule another follow up appt to follow up on lab results. I recommend SchoolHouse Pediatrics without reservation!

I have never had an issue getting an appointment when I needed it. I always plan ahead for school vaccines and schedule weeks in advance. Sick day visits are typically same day and they even see sick kids on Saturday mornings. Staff is personable and the facility is up to date and clean.

I cant say enough about how happy I am with Schoolhouse Pediatrics. We have been a patient for 5 years and now have 3 kids. It doesnt matter which Dr. or Nurse that we see -- our children are treated well and all our questions are answered. I highly recommend!

We love Dr. P and the nurses. Everyone is always very friendly (all hellos and goodbyes) and makes our baby feel really taken care of. Dr. P spends a lot of time with us answering questions and has a great bedside manner.
