Called to see if my insurance was accepted and would cover my eye exam. I was told that it would and chose to see Vered Sobel for this reason. I got a bill in the mail a week later for $85 and was told my insurance did not cover the exam. When I called to ask what happened, I was told that I must be wrong even though I specifically picked this office because I was told my visit would be covered. Furthermore, Vered Sobel was the most impersonal and generally unfriendly provider I have ever seen as a patient in any facility.

Had to wait 40 minutes for my scheduled apt!!! Not a personable doctor at all. Had to call three times to get a human on the phone. The auto attendant which is Sobels voice is so rude it was amazing. Fortunately she was just a fill in for my regular doctor who was on vacation and I wont have to see her again. I will be calling Blue Cross/Blue Shield regarding what I feel is insurance fraud for how much she billed them & me. Stay away from this office!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would rate zero but that isnt an option.

My Dad scratched his eye late on a Thursday. He got treated right away on Friday and Dr. Sobel came back on Saturday, when the office is closed, just to check up on his eye and make sure everything was healing up well.

They messed up my contact order TWICE for the same order. The receptionist is rude. I will be changing eye care facilities.

They never called me
