I think the world of Dr. Masri. I have been seeing him since early 2009. Dr. Masri has essentially been my primary care provider and has not only provided excellent treatment but also recommended me to specialists who were superior practitioners in their own right. His advice on nutrition, exercise and self-care has been spot-on and invaluable. I am 59 years old and Dr. Masri has kept me up and running. I have spinal stenosis that has lead to peripheral neuropathy severely affecting my right arm, and a herniated lumbar disc that Ive had since 1978 after an injury pulling soil cores as a research assistant [protrusion of the disc into the right neural foramen according to the radiologist]. Dr. Masri has not only kept me going strong but allowed me to avoid surgeries that may well have left me unable to enjoy the active life I have always had. His skill in chiropractic and acupuncture (plus other techniques) have turned-around some pretty bad episodes Ive had with my back and neck, and improved my overall health as Ive aged. I enjoy lifting weights, aerobics, and backpacking and look forward to many years of doing the same. He also recently correctly diagnosed that I had facet syndrome in my neck (missed by my neurologist) and sent me to Dr. Brar (she is excellent too) for a facet injection, a treatment that not only took the pressure off my medial nerve but, over several treatments, put an end to the pain from the compressed medial nerve. I was at risk of losing the full use of my right arm and Dr. Masri did far more than my GP or neurologist ever did, both of whom seemed to have a wait and see attitude about the whole thing and did nothing for me except perform studies and tell me I would eventually need surgery. I simply cant give a higher recommendation to Dr. Masri. Im not at all ready to give in to age or injury and Dr. Masri has been my partner in the good life.

A couple months ago, I developed severe lower-back pain after overdoing it on deadlifts in the weight room. I thought the pain might subside within a few days, but after a week of immense pain I decided to seek professional help and give Dr. Masri a call. He was extremely flexible with my schedule and got me in for an appointment within a few days. During our first appointment, I wasnt sure what to expect since I had never been to a chiropractor before (I am only 27 years old). Dr. Masri was very punctual; time spent in the waiting room was only a few minutes. After discussing my injury, he began treating me, and I must say, the adjustment he gave me was incredible. I felt like a whole new man afterwards, as if my spine had released years and years of tension built up from weight-lifting (which I have been doing for the past 9 years). Dr. Masri is also an avid gym-goer himself, so he even gave me some helpful tips for my lifting technique as well day-to-day things I could do at home and work help treat my back, including letting me borrow a lacrosse ball to roll out my knots. Towards the end of the appointment, I mentioned I had also been having pain in my right ankle, and without hesitation, Dr. Masri went straight inspecting my ankle and adjusting it too! My ankle pain was gone within a couple days! I went in for a few more follow-up adjustments in the following weeks, and my pain at this point has almost completely subsided. Overall, Dr. Masri takes his time with his patients and is extremely thorough and friendly. He seemed to genuinely care about my healing, a quality you unfortunately dont find as often as you should in doctors these days. I highly recommend him for anyone looking a top-notch chiropractor in the area.

I was in town for a conference, and had a severe flare of low back/hip psoas related pain, due to long drive. I found two local chiropractors, and only chose Masri as he was able to see me sooner. Ive been getting chiropractic care for over 20 years, and have great providers in NYC. This was the first time I actually had a chiropractor who spent almost an hour with me, directly, manipulating my low back, hip, and upper back, in order to reduce the acute pain. He also helped me to do an active release of my psoas. Noone has done that for me before. I was very impressed. He was professional and kind, too. I went back the next morning for a short visit/adjustment as well.

Exceptional chiropractor. Ive been to dozens in the area as well as down the east coast over the years and Dr. Masri is excellent. When I visited his practice his front desk employee had called in sick and he had multiple patients arrive at the same time. He managed to not only help with my migraine pain but also treat many in a hectic timing with the upmost service. You can tell this Dr. truly cares to solve your pain and increase your quality of life. I highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Masri since he opened. Dr. Masri and his team are exceptional! I drive from Maryland to see him and Dr. Vu Nguyen. Dr. Masri always gives me the time I need and is very flexible with scheduling. He uses a great mix of current techniques and traditional medicine. He is a very kind and compassionate professional with a wealth of knowledge. If you need acupuncture, chiropractic care or sports rehabilitation, I cant recommend him and his team enough.

I have been to MANY chiropractic doctors in my lifetime and have visited pretty much all of them in Arlington/Falls Church area... Dr. Masri is BRILLIANT! I had a serious injury from an 8 foot fall. I visited two orthopedic surgeons (stay away from Nirschl orthoepdic!) and 3 different chiropractors- it was a gift to find Dr. Masri who gave me instant results... I continue under his care and highly recommend him! Claudia

Wow, the best chiropractic visit Ive had EVER. Sam was very hands on and really took his time to stretch my neck/back and massage to get me ready for a successful manipulation. I didnt feel like I was in a chiro factory where you just go in, get manipulated then leave. He also gave me some ideas of what I can do at home to help build up muscles that will help to alleviate future issues. Great visit and I will be back!

Ive been to see Dr. Masri a number of times; a few for recurring shoulder and neck pain and once for a minor injury. He was professional and knowledgeable and the treatments were very effective. Staff was friendly and courteous, wait times were minimal and they accepted my insurance. Office is clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality chiropractic care in Ballston.

Dr. Masri is an outstanding chiropractic sports physician! A sharp diagnostician, he traced the cause of my chronic knee pain to incorrect placement of the cleats on my cycling shoes. He was spot on! He is knowledgeable, kind and he really listens. I always feel better when I leave his office, not only physically but emotionally from his encouragement and positive energy!

I never got the attention that I need from Dr. Masri. My appt only lasts 5-10 mins. My story is always new to him as if I am a new patient. I am obliged to switch to a different doc. It takes a lot of time to find another doc, but I will take my time to do so.
